How do you know when you've trapped a gopher?

When the trap is gone from where you set it, and you find it 10 feet away in the tall grass with a dead gopher attached. That's how you know

Purchase trapping set first? It looks like it is a different size than the one with the kit. What gives?

The set includes the trap, wedge and probe tool. It's the same trap whether you order the set or just the trap by itself.

How do you remove the gopher from the stick?

Push the upper part (with the yellow streak) of the stick down the black portion. This releases the dead gopher or mole from the trap.

How do you set it when the runs are only 4-5” deep? Pull up the tube and you are out of the hole. Wobble wobble

use two bricks holding the tube in place is enough. Actually I always work on new mound and the tube never go beyond 4-5" deep. Its okay
