Lifters Tap Like Hell... Now I have a Diesel.....
When I installed the lifters and rockers and put everything back together (A beautiful job I might add). After starting it up at idle the Lifters/Rockers sounded great. But once I put a load the engine like normal acceleration, she sounds like a diesel! Once she warms up, she quiets down. It sounds like the lifters are either sticking or not hydraulically expanding properly. I checked all the Cam belt chain change tensioners everything was torqued to spec, and triple checked prior to closing it up. Disappointing...

Rockers are fine. Lifters tap like crazy
Lifters tap like crazy. Rockers work fine. I’ll be pulling it back apart next weekend and putting mopar lifters in. That said it did fix the misfire on cylinder four along with the new cams.

Rocker Arm & Valve Lifter Kit Replacement
Installed these in my 3.6. The rockers seem to work great but the lifters have some noise. I am not sure what the issue is though. Might work in a pinch but long term I am not sure how long they will last.
