Very pleased with this. Does exactly hat it should do.
We ordered this printer from Amazon and unfortunately the first one delivered was faulty. Amazon quickly replaced the faulty printer with a replacement. The replacement worked perfectly and we are more than happy to recommend both the printer and Amazon. As others have mentioned the lack of instructions in the box is frustrating but there are clear instructions on the website and they are easy to follow. Overall this seems to be a good quality product and should hopefully last for years into the future. The lady that responded to us from Amazon was both polite and understanding. She worked to resolve the problem of the faulty printer and has made us very happy.

Works as expected
The printer works fine (so far). The reason for only four stars is due to the convoluted set-up process. I used the supplied disc and everything went fine until I thought everything was finished. But then a message popped up saying it was checking for firmware update. After spending a further 10 minutes downloading and installing the update I thought I was finally finished - but no. Another message popped up to say it was downloading and installing even more software, most of which I will never use. Eventually it was all finished and I was then taken to the website which containe more information which I didn't bother to read as by this time i'd had enough.The only other slight problem I had was that I connected via wi-fi which slowed my computer down to a crawl, but that may be due to a poor wi-fi signal. Otherwise the printer is a decent buy.

Very happy with purchase
Printer was purchased to replace my old Epson 405 series, it was easy to install using the online set up process. It comes with easy to follow instructions and a cd if you prefer to set it up manually. The print quality is good and the copy/scanner is easy to do with just one button press. I read most of the reviews before purchasing so I was a little worried with others saying about the difficulty in setting it up. There were a couple of issues while installing but this was due to my internet quality rather than the actual printer.I would recommend this printer as it's cheap and has good fast quality printing x

Manufactured e-waste | Don't buy
Printer doesn't work most of the time. Highly unreliable, eats through cartridges very quickly and has proprietary refill cartridges. The amount of rubbish software you have to install makes this not worth it on its own. The scanner software doesnt work at all.Total waste of money. Spend a little more money and buy anything other than Epson.

A good all round printer
A good all round printer/scanner and copier, very easy to set up. It replaced an old HP printer, the new printer is very much quieter, the only thing I wonder about is why all the printer manufacturers ship new printers with reduced capacity ink cartridges. As it happens so far this hasn’t been a major problem, but I have ordered a set of high capacity inks. Print quality is very good and also quite fast, scanning and photo copying work well, so I would give this printer full marks.

Instructions not clear. Driver took a number of attempts to install. Ink carts had dried up. Told it was my fault that ink carts didn’t work by helpline. Used my spare set of ink carts, took an hour and many sheets of test paper to get head working. Used up new carts. Told it was my fault by helpline.Very poor customer care.Reported to Amazon who gave me set of ink carts.This is a cheap printer - other economic models available. I have bought lots of printers over the years - this one is the worse.

Great little home device that does everything you need
All the functions work extremely well and the screen is easy to navigate. There is also excellent tech support if you need it and YouTube videos to support changing ink cartridges etc. It connects very well to my lap-top wirelessly. I haven't had to use a USB cable but apparently you can use this too. I am really delighted with this little printer/copier/scanner and it makes working from home very straight forward. If you have a lot of printing to do every day you might need something bigger, but for general use it's fine and very good value for money.
