Scholl Toenail Softener 5ml

I have been extremely disappointed with this product. Not what l was expecting at all.I had to write to the sender to ask for a translation of the product instructions, they are printed in a foreign language as you can see from my photos. I would not recommend this item.

I can still reach my feet to cut my toenails but over the last year or so have found it more and more difficult to actually cut them. Especially my big toes which have become as tough as old boots. Another of the joys of growing older I suppose! Then I discovered Scholl's Toenail Softener and have never looked back. As this product seems to have disappeared from my local Boots and Sainsburys I bought in bulk online, and now my aged claws are just fine.

Does what it says..

Had a problem with painful big-toes; all footwear feeling too-small for comfort.I recalled a similar problem which I thought might have been caused by thick & unyielding toe-nails. On that occasion I used Scholl toe-nail softening-solution looking for improvement. I did consider that fungus under the toe-nails was the cause of the problem, however I did not fancy using fungus-treatments after reading the warnings of possible side-effects from those products. Much to my relief the toe-nail softener fluid seemed to reduce the fungus problem to the extent of removing pain.Although the present Scholl toe-nail softening-solution is different to that previously used, the effect seemed to be identical. Seems to be a cheap "do it yourself" remedy, which could save lots of chiropodist expertise.

Yes, okay, so it says it softens toe nails, yer, lots of thing can say this. Well, I need really strong toe nail pliers to cut my nails, force 10 sort of thing. And then I tried this, you know what it's like, it says 'I can do this' and you think yer.But it does, it makes my toe-nails so much easier to cut, yes, soft, no more superman powers to cut the big toe nails.Didn't believe the description, but it really does soften hard toenails. So, if you need wire cutters to trim your nails, then get this and go back to being human !

The product is good although not nearly as good as a product that Scholl used to make for the same purpose, which was a liquid sold in a small bottle.

it does help to soften the nail but have another product not meant for that purpose i was told about that works just as well
