Munich Official Oktoberfest 2011 Wirtekrug (Host Mug) German Oktoberfest Beer Mug 1.0 Liter, Salt Glaze

This 1 liter salt glazed mug arrived a day before the shipping estimate and was very carefully packaged. The mug is just the right size for my needs and is of quality construction. It has a flaw in the decoration on the side, however. A glob of what appears to be glue (not glaze) right over the word Munchen. Possibly that explains why this mug was not sold during the Octoberfest in 2011. In any case, since I bought this mug for it's functionality and not as a collector's item, I decided to keep it. Other than the one flaw, the rest of the finish on the mug is very well done and the theme is quite attractive. I will enjoy drinking my home brew from this mug.

very nice and decorative mug. I bought this as a gift for a friend who loved it. Mug is made by RASTAL and is of the usual good quality. If you need a 1/2 Liter mug, this one is reasonably priced.
