LONDON FOGWomen's Plus-Size Double Breasted Peacoat with Scarf

I have been looking for a wool pea coat for several months, have also purchased several coats, all of which had to be returned. My body shape - broad shoulders, small bust, wide hips, which makes it a nightmare when trying to buy coats/jackets. In order to fit in hips, I need a plus size, but then bust area is ridiculously way too big. Just as I was about to give up, I found this black London Fog pea coat in a 1X and decided to give it a try. Happy to say my search is over! The coat is slightly a-lined, bust area is still a tad big, but will be perfect when I layer up on really cold days, plenty room in sleeves not tight at all, AND hip area fits perfect! The thick wool blend fabric is also very nice, as the tight weave makes for a softer smooth feel. Too bad it doesn't come in camel!

I LOVE THIS COAT!! I recently saw at a Burlington near me and they only had 2x which is the size I normally wear. But it was too big and they didn’t have a 1x. So I decided to look on Amazon for a 1x. It was $30 more on Amazon but it fits perfectly, so I didn’t mind paying more. It is the perfect coat. A person mentioned they felt it was too thin. It is not to me. It has a great weight. Thick enough to keep you warm on cold winter days! I can’t say enough good things about the coat. It looks like it was custom made for me. It’s a classy, well made coat. I sized down. I normally take a 2x, but the 2x was huge and I was swimming in it. So decided to see if Amazon had it in a 1x. I was ecstatic when I saw they did and it fits great, is warm, classy and just the best coat ever!!

This coat is exactly what is claimed it to be!True to size with room to layer additional clothing. Beautiful, well built & super warm! I've worn pea coats for as long as I can remember, so I go through them fast. I typically wear a 2x...big in the middle and the shoulders, not in the chest (unfortunately). This coat fits me well in both places and I'm able to button it with ease, so yea me! But I do find this particular coat is very short in the sleeves for some reason. I catch myself pulling at them the entire time I'm wearing it. Not really sure why the sleeves are so short, but I did debate sending it back at first because it bothered me so much. I love the coat overall so much, I'm dealing with it, but I don't think I'll buy another one from London Fog for fear of shortened sleeves. Four stars for a great coat, one less for tiny arm length.

Size up! I usually wear a 2x but it was very snug in the shoulder & around the waist. This is due to the traditional inset sleeves (as opposed to raglan sleeves) & sewn on belt across the back. Beautiful color & wool fabric for both the jacket and shawl. The design of the jacket is very nice, taylored look, but as a result, it runs on the small side. Better to error on the side of caution & size up. My only problem with the larger size was the thick collar that rose up into my hair at the back of my head. I have almost no neck so this would be a problem for me comfort-wise but also I don't relish looking like a turtle with it's head drawn into it's shell! I'm sorry to say I have to return the larger size because of this. Darn- beautiful jacket.

This is a double breasted red pea coat by London Fog. I love the quality. I figured a brand like London Fog would not disappoint and they didn’t. The beautiful red color will add a pop to any outfit. The scarf is a nice addition and the print perfectly matches a skirt I have. I believe you have remove the scarf. The lining is very nicely done. This lovely wool coat. exceeded my exceptions.

This coat is beautiful. Soft rich wool, nice and thick. Fit my mother perfectly. She is 5’ 190 and thick in the middle area. The 1x was perfect.

I had to return the coat. It is very heavy and I know I would not have worn it. It fit so nice everywhere but across back of shoulders a little tight, but I think next size up would have been big everywhere else.

I normally have to get a 2x for the chest size and this fits fine at the top - a bit too loose for me at the waist for my shape (always my problem). Very comfortable. Good for the temperatures so far, but we haven't had very cold weather yet, only 0 to -6, but I'm sure it will be good until about -10 or -15. A very nice coat.

This peacoat was my second choice since my first choice was a bit small. So happy to say this coat fit me perfectly, and even better, it arrived the day after I ordered it! The price was really reasonable and the workmanship of the coat is top-notch. Couldn't be happier with this purchase!

The coat is very beautiful but have to return it because he is very too large.
