Perfect fit
The part was a perfect fit, I have only mowed my yard once since installing the new spindle and had no problems. As far as the durability will just have to wait and see. The spindle also comes packed with what seems to be a high grade grease, and has a grease fitting so it can be greased any time the original part did not have that capability.

Replace your noisy spindles
A spindle is the means by which the power created by your mower's engine is transferred to the spinning blades. When your spindles get old, they get noticeably louder as the greased internal bearings fail. Eventually a spindle can seize and stop spinning entirely, but before it reaches that stage it can cause your mower to bog down because of the spindle's reluctance to move. Replacing an old spindle typically requires removing the mower deck. I used an electric impact wrench to remove the old mower blade. After that I used a 13 mm socket to remove the four bolts holding the old spindle in place. Once those bolts are removed, the spindle lifts out from the top of the mower deck. The old one goes in, you tighten the bolts and then fit a new mower blade. It isn't absolutely necessary to replace your mower blades but you might as well, you've got them right there and there'll never be an easier time to do that as well. With the new spindle in place, my mower is much less noisy and the bogging problem that impelled me to replace the bad spindle is now gone. My only other suggestion is that you consider replacing all spindles at the same time, but that's up to you as to whether you want to spend the additional money for all new spindles.
