In buying this, you aren’t just paying for the incredible attention to detail that most definitely went into the overall conceptual design that went into building this pure essence of cyberpunk, but you’re really paying for the sturdiness of the build and the internal build for the audio, too! My fiancée and I love this for more than it’s outside, but what a powerful punch it packs inside too.Inside and out, the sound is clean, and the zinc alloy build really allows for a lot of wiggle room in finding your audio preferences. This speaker isn’t just for hi-fidelity gaming; it ranges from supporting bass-heavy tracks and delivering on clean or dirty punchy midtones, to even simply enjoying a podcast in the kitchen background while I cook with my fiancée, as it beautifully enhances the speaking audio. When paired with an equaliser/EQ software, where you can also adjust and fine tune your audio experience to your liking, pairing it with this speaker means there is nothing but endless opportunities for incredible sound experience every session.So let’s get into it: The LEDs are bright, yet not overwhelming to its overall design, so visually it continues to be striking enough to set the ambience wherever your work station, battle station, home office space is and not feel out of place or clunky and taking up too much space. These LEDs, however, are not just for show, but they serve as Bluetooth pairing and battery level indicators!! The top being a real-time touch strip for adjusting the volume is neat too. When it comes to audio, traditionally for me, physically adjusting and fine tuning stuff is what makes the experience, something harder in our Bluetooth world nowadays, so it’s a welcome and neat little addition. I really enjoy looking over the Mars Pro and seeing how much thought went into simplifying parts of its design for a more simple, streamlined, and clean layout, AKA, there are 4 buttons (not counting the volume strip,) for Bluetooth, ON, OFF, and changing LED colours. No distractions or distractive design functions; it’s sleek, well-built, weighty without being hefty, solid, and aesthetically pleasing. Another plus is that the battery life is great and can last a LONG, LONG TIME before needing a charge with regular light-moderate activity. And the speaker isn’t just the best part; the packaging is INCREDIBLE and stunning, as you can see from my photos, and the protective styrofoam packing inside the box it came in is just as on point too.Last but not least, the brand itself and its customer service is incredible and has been great when I’ve had any other questions about the product or the brand. This isn’t just another product for them, but they pride themselves on quality of sound, durability, and satisfaction of their customer base, and it shows. My fiancée and I are big cyberpunk/techwear enthusiasts, and as music and gaming have played a big role in our lives and lifestyle, this brand and speaker have blown our expectations, experiences, and aesthetic ideals out of the water!Conclusion: absolutely in love with the Mars Pro speaker and Gravastar. Bravo. I look forward to another purchase from them; my fiancée and I thought we only needed one speaker, but down the road a second is definitely in sight.

The Gravastar Mars Pro is undeniably a cool speaker! Its design is stunning, the sound quality is excellent, and it feels like a high-quality, well-built piece of tech. However, there’s a significant issue that dampened my experience: it randomly shuts off.According to the company, the speaker powers down after 26 minutes of inactivity, even when plugged in, and this feature cannot be disabled. While I can somewhat understand this for energy-saving purposes, it’s disappointing for such a premium-priced product. What’s worse is that the speaker shut off three times while I was actively using it during a Teams call.Hoping this was a defect, I returned my first unit and got a replacement, but the problem persisted. It seems the speaker doesn’t recognize a Teams call as "active use," which is a serious oversight for anyone intending to use it for more than just playing music.Despite this flaw, I decided to keep it because I absolutely love the design. I now use it primarily to play music during the day, where it shines in both sound and aesthetics. That said, the constant powering down is frustrating. Not only does the sound stop, but the beautiful lighting effects turn off as well, leaving you with a plain, dark speaker unless you manually turn it back on every 30 minutes.I also purchased the $60 base, which stays lit all the time, hoping it would keep the speaker on—but it doesn’t. For a product this expensive, it feels like a missed opportunity not to include an option to override the auto shut-off or keep the lighting effects on.While it looks amazing and sounds great, the lack of usability and customization for such basic functionality is a massive disappointment. I really hope Gravastar takes this feedback into consideration and releases an update or a new product that allows the speaker to stay on and stay lit. After all, the lighting is what makes it such a conversation piece!

The media could not be loaded. Aesthetics: love the cyberpunk look. Looks like a not so little robotic friend.Features: I dig the touch volume adjustment. I love the lighting pattern. I do wish that I could pitch the legs a bit to change the angle, but stability is important over mobility obviously.Function: I like how you can change the color or shut off the lights entirely. The battery level warnings is a great idea(sounds like the bot speaking).Sound: has a good bass and clarity between ranges. I have a few Bluetooth speakers and this is my overall favorite. I have another that has better sound range for gym, but that’s no where near as cool.The one con: I would say turning it on/off it’s loud. So if your loved one is sleeping and the battery dies or when shutting it down you may disturb them. Wish the off/on volume matched the device volume.Perhaps the cable port underneath is a little annoying as well, bends the cable. IMO likely designed for a desk outlet underneath it.
