Perfect replacement
Bought these as a replacement for my avid BB5 disc brakes. To be honest they work and last just as long as the official avid BB5 disc pads. For a fraction of the price too, official ones are nearly £20 just for two which becomes expensive when you need four to replace disc pads on both wheels.

Fantastic and fit perfectly
Fantastic value and they fitted perfectly. Had the spring clip in there for both sets.

Very good for the price so far
So far so good. Seem to be good quality pads, stop better than my old pads.

Does the job, but overpriced
It fits my Promax DSK-300R brakes on Triban RC500. The price is much higher than resin, hope it last longer.

Noisy at best dangerous at worse
Used the first four pads for months without major issue but could never get them quiet. Changed to a new set of rotors and fitted the second set of pads and while bedding them in one of the blocks of compound came straight off the backing plate. Managed to finish my ride but if that had happened on a step descent it could have been ugly. Going to stick to name brand Avid pads in future.

Yes, they fit
You have to back out the left and right calipers. it's snug and took a little patience, but despite what many have said they fit, no sanding. The springs seem weak but apparently they work, the pads fit, and they're reasonably priced. Five stars from me.

fits well, works well
I couldn't fit the second pad in the bracket at first. Some reviews talked about having to file them down. But I found that after I backed both adjusters all the way out, both pads fit easily. Then I could tighten them up for proper travel distance, and they worked great. They didn't squeal or make any sounds. It took a few applications of the brakes for them to reach their full braking ability, which is to be expected.

Low quality brake pads that barely work
"You get what you pay for." These pads were cheap, and now I know why. They were manufactured to low standards. The metal housing is rough, and most of the thickness is paint and not metal. The edges are jagged and poorly cut. The pad material is about half as thick as the original Avid pads (when new), so I was forced to tighten my cables and close the gaps like I would half-worn pads. And the included clips are weak. I ended up using my old clips because they held the pads tighter. On the bright side, these pads provide a good grip on my brake disks. So they DO work, despite the quality issues. I just wouldn't expect them to last very long. ...and I haven't tried using my brakes while wet yet, so I don't know how well they'll work in the rain or mud.

Fit great, not lasting long.
Fit was great, stopping power was a little better then stock, just not lasting as long as the originals... bought some from dyisland after realizing how quickly I had too adjust... although I did only buy the blue multi instead of the gold. So the gold might be better... came with reds though...?

Sometimes THICC is good, but this time THICC is BAD!
Bought these the try a different pad compound on my gravel bike with Avid BB5s. Unable to install because they were too thick to fit through the slot in the caliper to install. I saw reviews stating they were too thin and did not last long. Perhaps they overcorrected in their manufacturing or their QC is terrible. Caveat Emptor!
