Update 1/3/2025:This company is no more and their app is no longer available. I’m still able to use mine since I’ve never updated my phone since they took it off the App Store. The bulbs were great while they worked, loved the holiday presets and mood settings. Now I’m stuck with what ever I preset and saved in the app. No new programming or saving available. If you know a way to use these with another app please share that information. Google Home and Alexa no longer recognize these devices either.I purchased these back in 2021. I love all the features built into the app. I have had a bulb on my porch area since purchasing and I love that I can control from the app. We’ve lost several law enforcement officers and I’m able to show my support by making my light blue during a this time, Super Bowl Sunday I blink or create a routine with the team colors I’m rooting for, then at Christmas these puppies run from dusk to dawn with the Christmas setting and my porch is an exciting holiday themed light show that accompanies my other decor. The rest of the time I have it set to the preset “Warm White” at 100% and I’m the brightest porch light in the row of townhomes.The “rules” that you setup are like a routine and after much trial and error I know how to set it up for auto on/off. Other than the rules being confusing to set I love everything about this product. I hope they are still as great when I have to replace in the future.

These bulbs are great! Easy install you screw them in and turn your light switch on. Then, through the app you sync the bulbs to your Bluetooth and wifi. You can rename the bulb to its location so you know which is which. Oh! And the app has this awesome option to sync the bulb to the beat of music or a movie you might be watching. When we leave our home we forget to turn lights off constantly and with these bulbs you can turn them off as you long as you have cell phone service or wifi and you can a access the app. Oh and if you’re gone from home on vacation there’s an option for use so your home lights come on and off randomly so as to presume someone is home while away. :)

Deserves 0 stars. Buy another smart bulb with an app/service that actually works!I’ve been buying and using these smart bulbs since 2021 and loved them until recently. Now, the app constantly says “Failed to connect to server.” This has happened a few times in the past, but was always resolved in a week or two. This time, it’s been more than a few months. I can still turn my lights on/off and change colors, BUT my saved colors (that were my favorites) are gone now along with all my rules (scheduled on/off times, scheduled brightness changes, scheduled color changes).I’ve got about 10 bulbs that are basically garbage now. This product should be taken off the market, in my opinion, because it’s extremely misleading to continue advertising as smart bulbs when the app doesn’t work and the company seems to have disappeared.I bought a different brand smart bulb to try (Kasa) and so far, like that much better than even when Vont was working. The app will still take some getting used to, but the colors seem more rich and I have more flexibility with the warm/cool white tones. Since trying this other bulb, I’ve also noticed the brightness doesn’t take a hit when you switch to a color versus white — with Vont, the color settings were always much less bright compared to warm white.

I will admit that Alexa has made me semi-lazy but its so nice to be able to turn a lamp off and on from across the room when you've snuggled your way into bed and don't want to get back up. Its also nice to not have to struggle to reach the awkwardly placed lamp switch when you can just use your voice to turn off and on and change the color and brightness too. Makes a $15 lamp into priceless mood lighting. I'm a tech savvy person, but the bulbs seemed super simple to setup and I experienced no issues. 10 outta 10 for me, very happy!

UPDATE BELOW:Original Review,Light bulb is bright enough. But I didn't buy it for the brightness. I purchased it for integration with Alexa. Problems started immediately upon trying to connect it to wifi. Waste of time. Nor my 2.4g or 5g would connect. Takes forever to even try to connect only to give you a "try again" message" that is very frustrating. Things get worse when trying to connect it to Alexa. First off, you HAVE to have the Vent app open so there's that. Second it never worked with Alexa. Waste of time. I mean, for 5 bucks whatever but if this company wants to be a serious contender they need to get more serious with Alexa integration. Nobody wants to use a no-name home control app.Update:So a few hours after posting the review, the bulb started magically working with Alexa. I did not do anything that I had not done before (switch wifi; restart each app; reconnect several times; etc) I guess that's good news since I am working to have Alexa control everything in my house but I still don't like the idea of having the Vont App on in order for Alexa to connect to it. I'm updating this review and giving it one more star.

Can control the colors from your phone through the app on your phone. The light reacts to the music as well which is super cool. They have lasted almost two years which is good with no problems other than sometimes it disconnects but it's easy to connect again from your phone. Can change it to any color any time. Even has an intruder setting so it will come on and turn off at certain times you set if you are out of town! Pretty awesome set of lights!!

Yo, this lamp goes crazy. It’s lasted as long as I’ve owned it since 21 was like three years my lamp went out before this bulbzzzz man two of them no joke…both lamps literally and one’s bottom crumbled away…wtf this bulb is the awesome and hard…couple times connection with Bluetooth is held up but always seem to get it back on, working and bright and responsive to change, dang this lite is very dang good.
