I picked up the Edinburgh Gin Crackers set as a little treat over the holidays, and they were an absolute hit with family and friends. Whether you're gifting them, using them as table decorations, or just enjoying a fun take on a classic British tradition, these crackers are a brilliant blend of festive flair and quality gin. The packaging is smart and festive, with a premium feel that instantly tells you you’re getting something a bit special. Each cracker is individually wrapped in elegant foil and ribbon, and they look fantastic on the table — definitely a talking point before you even pull them open. Inside each cracker you’ll find a miniature bottle of Edinburgh Gin — each a different flavour from their range. In my box, I received classics like the Rhubarb & Ginger, Elderflower, and the original London Dry, along with a few more playful blends. The miniatures are proper glass bottles (not plastic), each clearly labelled and sealed. It really gives them a luxury feel. The gin itself is top quality — I’ve enjoyed Edinburgh Gin before, and this was a lovely reminder of why I like them so much. The Rhubarb & Ginger was especially well received — sweet and spicy without being overpowering. The Elderflower variant was light and refreshing, ideal for mixing with a bit of tonic. Even the London Dry went down well on its own over ice. As for the "cracker" experience — there’s no loud snap like a traditional cracker, which some might miss, but it’s a small price to pay for what you get inside. There’s no toy or joke either, but again, the focus here is clearly on quality and flavour rather than novelty. These are more for grown-up entertaining than for kids or traditional family games. The miniatures are 5cl each, so you get a proper serving to enjoy — not just a taste. Pair with tonic, use them in cocktails, or sip them neat — they’re all lovely in their own way. They’d make a great gift for gin lovers, Secret Santa, or even as a stocking filler. Ideal for those who enjoy a little something different around the festive table. All in all, these gin crackers combine quality, presentation, and a bit of seasonal fun. Edinburgh Gin have really nailed it with this set — classy, festive and delicious. Highly recommended for a bit of grown-up Christmas cheer!

This set of 4 gin crackers is designed for a grown-up Christmas. I was too late to order these last year so took advantage of ordering earlier this year. They are suitably heavy but whilst they look attractive at first glance, the cardboard outers do look a little skewed and out of shape. If you are OCD and like everything perfect, this presentation is less than that…. However, I am sure a good time will be had by all!
