Grandson was delighted with his new globe
Eight year old grandson was excited when it came out of the box. Seems to be study enough and size is appropriate for his use. He uses a magnifying glass to read names of countries and some small print but this allows me to help him explorer and pronounce different countries names with him. Bonding experience for both of us. Makes a nice night light for his room. Good price and good product. Happy Campers!

Illuminated Globe for Kids
Was purchased as Xmas gift, she wanted a world globe that spins. This does it. and the light inside she loves, and uses as a night light at night in her room. Is Perfect 8" size for smaller hands.

Great starter globe!
I love this globe and the light it produces is perfect for a night light! The globe is made well and I think it’s great for a starter globe for kids due to its size and light producing effect. It can be used as a great reference to demonstrate where places are relative to where you are. I bought for a 7 year old boy.NOTE: you need a very very small screw driver to open the battery portion of the globe so the globe will light up. This was the only annoying part of this product. I don’t understand why some toys have such teeny tiny screws. So if you do not own a teeny tiny screw driver then you will have to get one to open the battery pack on the globe.

Nice little globe
My granddaughter asked for a globe and she loves it. Extra bonus she didn’t know about was that it lit up. She really likes it!
