Instantly relieved horrible pain from my 2003 neck injury
I was in a pretty bad car accident in 2003 that resulted in whiplash. I was an active, fit young man working construction, and figured I'd heal quick, on my own... My job required me to look over my shoulder hundreds of times a day, which I could no longer do without extreme pain. So, I did chiro/massage for years which helped with the pain and maintaining mobility so I could continue working. I eventually quit going to the chiro as the issue seemed resolved. Now in my middle-40's, the extreme tension/pain has slowly returned, increasing to an unbearable level, leaving me very desperate for a solution. Sleep is difficult, my neck is mostly immobile, the pain has me contemplating narcotics, it feels as if my vertebrae are starting to fuse together, and the pain has taken over my life/happiness. I have tried several devices, and daily attempts to stretch/roll through the pain are to no avail.THEN I BOUGHT THIS... Within minutes of opening the box, I experienced mobility and pain relief for the first time in YEARS! Literally instant relief! I now stretch my neck once every week or so (because the neck tension does eventually return), and not only is my neck more mobile/flexible than ever, but now I can focus on family and work instead of obsessing over my excruciating neck pain. I am now able to do preventative maintenance neck stretches that I could not do before getting this device. This probably isn't for everyone, and each individual will need to troubleshoot their own personal adjustments with this device. Most of the reviews complaining about the fitment (choking, jaw pressure, etc) are totally adjustable by the user, lol. (Example: you don't NEED to inflate the air bladder all the way, tighten the tensioner all the way, or raise the extenders up all the way; just find the sweet spots.) For me, this has been the single best quality of life improvement purchase ever. I've been using this for several months now and highly recommend.

Kind of uncomfortable, but the results are absolutely worth it
Overall, I'm very happy with this neck brace. I'm giving it 5 stars overall despite comfort and ease of use getting 3 stars. That's because it kinda sucks a little to wear, if I'm being honest, but it literally fixes the issue every time I use it.I've got a problem with the disc between my C5 and C6 vertebrae which causes some issues now and again, but the surgical fix is to fuse those 2 and I'm only 37 right now and see that as a "nuclear option" if things really get bad. When that problem starts acting up, I put this on for 15 to 30 minute sessions. Usually 1 or 2 sessions in a day fixes me right up and I'm good for a few days, sometimes over a week. When I first got this, I was using it for 3 sessions a day at 30 minutes since my neck was pretty angry at that time. However, as the weeks went by, I've had to use it less and less. I cannot in ANY WAY claim that this device has "fixed" the problem in any way, but I can say with confidence that I've had to use it less over time. That's way more than I expected. With the pain I had daily, I would have been totally fine having to use this a couple times every day, but I haven't had to do that daily. Instead, I'm usually 0 - 2 times a week (some weeks I just don't have a problem anymore). On one hand, I wish they could make it a bit more comfortable. It isn't painful to use, but after about 15 minutes you become hyper-aware that its on and it starts becoming a bit sore in a couple spots. I've work on various adjustments given the options available and have minimized, but not removed, the discomfort. Given how it's doing its job though, and given the results I get, the discomfort isn't a deal breaker. It's also more comfortable than a lot of the options I'd previously tried, so that's something. For the price, quality, and results, this neck brace is totally worth it to me and I cannot recommend it enough.

Digs into the clavicles
I’ve been battling a cervical radiculopathy in the C7 region since last summer. I’ve tried stretching, hot and cold therapy as well as massage but they had little effect. I want to exhaust all non-invasive options before consulting with a neurologist. I don’t really have any pain, more numbness and itching on the arm and hand. I started seeing a chiropractor and a traction device was on of the things she suggested. I normally take forever reading reviews on Amazon before pulling the trigger on a purchase. While I did read several reviews this time it seemed like the Neck Air Traction device had fairly positive reviews. Its construction feels solid and setup was easy to follow. I have yet to try the air inflation option as it does a decent job of stretching the neck by adjusting the knobs alone. The biggest complaint I have is that the padding under the shoulder area isn’t sufficient. It digs into the clavicles on both sides and I need to put additional padding under it otherwise it becomes uncomfortable after just a few minutes of use. The additional padding helps, but it also makes it a bit more difficult to get the rear neck piece locked into place. I’ve only been using it now for the past week, so I’ll wait a couple more weeks to see if it results in any relief.

This is the first neck stretcher that has actually worked
I have spurs in my neck vertebrae and have used various apparatus to stretch my neck when the pain gets too bad. Although this contraption is a bit uncomfortable and I would like it to have been made a bit sturdier, it is actually the first one that did a good job stretching my neck vertebrae and giving me relief. It also doesn't press on my airway, so I can wear it for longer without struggling to breathe.I would have given it 5 stars except that the it doesn't grip well enough on my shoulders. The plastic is a bit too flexible si starts to spread as I crank it up. It's not the most comfortable thing to use, but out of the others I have tried it is comfortable enough and it works. And it wasn't comfort in wearing it that i was looking for. After taking it off my neck definitely felt better for a matter of days.

Miracle worker if you have a cervical disc bulge!
Had to have a replacement disc surgery in 2015 from a car accident, which fixed pain I was having after the accident and I thought I would be fine the rest of my life (you know, being a "cyborg" now and all that), but started having pains again in November 2022... thought it may be rotator cuff, or bicep tendon issue, did lots of stretches, went to chiropractors, got x-ray and MRI done which showed a "negligible" bulge in the disc right below where I had my surgery, the doctors claimed it didn't look like it was enough to be causing me the pain, but at times depending how I slept on my neck or sometimes with help from a pressure pump I could sometimes get some temporary relief, maybe for a few hours, but it would always come back.I've used this now a grand total of 3-4 times over the last few weeks, most recently because pain was not only in my right arm but also in the left and getting worse, I love that I can just put it on and do whatever, watch TV play Xbox, often for 30+ minutes at a time with no inconvenience, I typically just keep it on until I start feeling a warm sensation in my neck which typically indicates to me that it's finally doing something. After having this on last night for a little over a half hour, I had one of my first good night's sleep without waking up to any arm pains, normal morning and normal day without any pains at all for the first time in over a year.Thousands of dollars wasted on Doctors and Chiropractors couldn't solve my issue, but this little device did the trick! Absolutely worth the investment!
