Bought as a gift for my boyfriend, a Sith Lord, here’s what he said: These Lightsaber Chopsticks are not for younglings who have yet to master the Force. If you already know how to use chopsticks, this is one of the coolest Star Wars kitchen accessories you can own. The illuminated sabers feel surprisingly natural in hand, the grip is solid, and they turn an ordinary bowl of ramen into a Jedi/Sith Lord training session. I had zero issues using them, despite reviews claiming they’re difficult. Perhaps the Force simply wasn’t strong with those reviewers. Whether you’re enjoying Shin Ramyun or any other galactic feast, these chopsticks add a level of fun that makes every meal feel like you’re dining in a cantina far, far away. 5/5 — Sith-approved.

Updated review: After I reviewed my item, the seller reached out to me and provided excellent customer service that was proactive in solving my issue. It turns out I received an older model of the chopsticks and they had actually updated the model to included frosted tips that would grip onto the sushi! They immediately offered a replacement of the chopsticks for the newer model and even included a sweet little gift in there!! (Super cute and fun lightsaber keychain!!! I would’ve bought this as a gift too at one point if I looked further and found it on their page but I didn’t even go look!) I have to say the product they replaced is great, the customer service is above and beyond, and I would certainly recommend this as gift for your loved ones that are Star Wars fans! Original review: I bought this for my husband and he was excited to use them, but when he tried picking up his sushi the chopsticks are too slippery of a plastic so it doesn’t grip to the sushi at all. Kinda disappointed. The lights are nice and bright but they don’t work well for the purpose intended.

When turned on, they’re pretty cool. My son and his friends ran thru the yard at night. They are bright. For chopsticks, they are a little bulky for smaller hands. He had trouble eating with them and quickly gave up for his typical set of wooden chopsticks from the restaurant. The acrylic or plastic they are made of is very smooth and food slides off them easily. My husband tried to use them, and he also felt the bulky square shaped ends where the battery is hinders easy use of these as chopsticks. I see these getting used more as toys than eating utensils.

I have nothing bad to say about these, I mean just look at them, how could a 44 year old man child not love these things! I mean aside from the fact that the lasers blind you while trying to eat they’re amazing! Oh, and even though they’re super chunky and hard to grasp, that should never stop you. Food doesn’t want to naturally stick to the rounded edges so you might want a backup fork just in case while eating, but like I said, you just cannot complain about these. It’s like playing with a toy whilst eating! Anyway, I needed a cheap white elephant gift and ended up using my turn to steal these back, so all essential needs met with these bad boys, so thanks!

Great birthday gift for foodie/Star Wars fan! Made them smile, and functional as well! Would buy again.

Edit- the seller reached out to me to rectify this mistake and sent me a new, working set! I am very happy with the quality of the replacement set, as well as the kind and courteous customer service. Thank you! Upon opening this on Christmas, it was found that one of the light up chop sticks doesn't light up. Upon inspecting the inside compared to the other one, there is a broken wire that isn't sodered where it should be so it doesn't work. It is a cool item but was a big bummer as this was a gift for my boyfriend.

Chopsticks look very cool and have a strong light! As far as using them to eat with, they’re a little top heavy (understandably). Caution when you wash them don’t get the tops wet. Very poor design and water seeps in the battery compartment. Rust formed after one wash and I had to clean out and replace the batteries. Recommend taping the inside of the battery compartment so water doesn’t get in, or better yet, use hot glue gun to seal the compartment.

Got this as a gift for my cousin as we both recently got into the Star Wars franchise. They arrived and worked perfectly. A great gift for any Star Wars fans!
