Q: How do I make a warranty claim on this thing? Mine started on fire when I was trying to charge it.

This is a Chinese product copy with associated quality and QC. Why can Amazon itself not deal with this? Is there not a specific policy for this be Amazon? Problem is more likely the charger. Min is working fine.

Q: Does it work for magicshine lights?

It might, check the voltage and milliamp hours of this battery and yours. If they match it should work. May require cutting and splicing with the old battery if the connectors are not the same. But if output of the battery packs match it will work, but i cant say if the connectors will work

Q: This battery pack has a female plug. My light has a female plug. Do you have an adapter or should I return the battery pack?

I have male on the charger and light, female on the battery pack. I would assume your original battery pack has a male plug and charger has female also? So the only way to use this pack with your charger/light would be to get a new plug and rewire the battery. If you try to rewire keep in mind, IF YOU SHORT OUT A BATTERY IT CAN EXPLODE OR CATCH ON FIRE! Be careful. Easy way is to return it. David
