So a little history about me, I just turned 50, Medically Disabled from the fire Dept. Hadn't ridden a bike in 30 years. I used to race as a kid, and it's been my dream to get a bike for years. 25 years of Fire Fighting has left my body pretty tore up, and fat 340lbs.As MLK said though "I had a dream". Loose weight and eventually cycle again.I started on the recumbent stationary bike at the YMCA, and could barely pedal. I'm 100lbs down now I finally had moved to a standard seat stationary bike. I began to feel better, and I wanted a bike bad. I Could only afford an online bike, but I got the one of my dreams. Problem was I didn't even get to sit on it before I bought it. Fit was going to be an issue.My back has L5:S1 issues, and I have 0 flexibility. I need a boat load of stack. It enabled me to finally have a comfortable cockpit. The Stack is HUGE at 40 degrees, and the shortened reach which aids in the stability of my position. All for 20$. Saved me a 200$bike fit for now. It is definitely worth the money.Just look at my bike. Black/Blue color scheme, shaved out aero look.It get's me out side and riding. Can't beat that!!!As far as the dealer? Originally I received a box with someones random stem replaced and the adjustable no where to be found. Though amazon I was quickly sent a replacement that got me up and riding within the week.

The adjustability on this stem is awesome. It’s super sold built. No wobble at all. Fits perfectly for my handlebars. Comes with high quality bolts too. Great for the price. Makes my ride much more comfortable. And it looks great. Functions just like it should.

I'm using this on a fat tire bike for causal offroad riding. I've a very stiff neck, and this stem got my bar up and back enough for a much more relaxed position. It appears to be very sturdy (kind of heavy too I suppose). I had no problems mounting it. I very happy with this item.

Didn't fit on my cannondale bike had to return it

Due to a wrist injury, I could no longer tolerate the straight-forward 105mm bar riser on my mtn bike. This looked like a potential solution, so I ordered it. I didn't know what to expect, but it is a VERY sturdy, nicely-adjustable (with serrated engagement to prevent slippage or movement of your setting), good-looking part. It absolutely does the job and has no flex that I can notice. I have it set on the tallest possible orientation and it makes a world of difference. Installs in minutes. It's heavier than a hollow piece of aluminum, but is a huge bargain for this price. You will not be disappointed. Note: be sure you check/set your steering head play after install as you will likely remove the top cap on your steering stem during install.

This stem riser was the perfect purchase. I had researched It before. I should have bought this 1 for myself but passed on it. My Wife just recently gotten her mountain bike, and even though her bike is a Small size she said that she was still uncomfortable riding her bike and the way her factory stem made her lean forward was uncomfortable, so in comes this thing. Now my Wife rides comfortably and doesn't have to worry about having back issues from leaning forward any more. Another thing too about this stem is, believe it or not it gives her bike a more aggressive stance making her cute little bike looking like it's ready to tear up the trail. Only problem is that I should of bought this sooner for myself. Definitely worth the investment and $ it's Amazon's top rated for a reason.

A little research on this upgrade paid off. Install time was about 10mins (remove old stem riser from handlebars, install this one). Features I liked were (1) the vertical head bolt wasn't buried under the part that rotates, so you could make adjustments to any bolts, (2) the side stem bolts for handlebar to wheel alignment, (3) the height (angle setting bolt) and (4) the handlebar clamp bolts. I had a decent set of T-handle Allen wrenches, so bolts were easily tightened, and all bolts fully seated (I've heard some may not be tapped deep enough in the aluminum). Weight was not an issue (though slightly heavier than the original stem, on a 90LB bike who cares). Also the forged aluminum matched the bike's fork tube triple head clamp style, so that was a plus. Powder coating finish a little different, but if you didn't tell anyone, they'd probably never notice.Lastly, this is the 110mm unit, set at ~65deg. This resulted in the handlebars about 2-1/2" inches higher than the stock stem.
