Unreliable and glitchy.
I bought mine right before Trendnet bough IDEAL. This is still the same unit. Mine started to freeze and go into scan loops after 2 months. It's now at the point where it doesn't do anything successfully but test a cable end to end (something a $20 tool can do). When plugged into Cisco, HP, UniFi, or Trendnet switch, it starts cycling through tests (half duplex, full, 10mbit, 100mbit, 1gig...) endlessly. Never shows the result. Does the same with PoE and without. I've sent mine in for warranty repair. They've had it for about 3 months before getting back to me with "everything is fine" with it. I tell them to send it back. I get it back 4 months later. It's still broken, still glitches and freezes the same way. Email the support, they claim it's just some PoE compatibility issue. Absolutely useless.
