Funny story. I have been looking for solar lights for my garden to use year-round and have get to find any that last more than a few weeks while set in places where they get direct sunlight pretty much all day. I bought these cute little ghost lights specifically for a party and had planned to take them out of the tree shortly afterward.As it turned out, these lights out-shined all the others at night, staying on for almost eight hours. So out of curiosity I decided to leave them out and see how long they'd last. They don't get nearly as much sunlight as the others did, but they still came on night after night. After a couple months they stopped being so reliable and would only come on about four times a week, but that was still more than I had expected from them.It's now the end of February and while they don't come on every night (again, not getting enough sunlight), they still surprise me by coming on about once or twice a week and shine brightly for most of the night. My friends tease me about leaving Halloween decorations up, but even they have to admit that these lights have continued to work long after the more traditional-looking ones have died.

These are nice up close and cute. From a distance these look like chili peppers because of the shape and 4 colors, not all for Halloween . Each ghost light has one of four colors and the LEDs don’t change color per light. It is somewhat expensive. The solar power seems to work OK for us but I would prefer something plug in or USB. Overall not bad but probably would not buy more for outside. Inside they probably won’t work because it is solar.

This light string is exactly what's claimed in the ad. It operates perfectly and has ample performance. One Note is the light string is fragile and not recommended for use where it could be flexed or stepped on. In my case, I bought a piece of plastic tubing long enough to match the length of the light string and fisched the light string through the tubing because I am using it in a garden along the wall where it could be bumped from time to time. I would recommend this like string to anyone trying to light a stairway or railing or border a garden. It is on every night from dusk to dawn via a light sensor and is used 360 days a year. So far, so good.

Update: great service by LEVIITEC. Shortly after posting my review, they contacted me to provide a free replacement for the faulty string. I really appreciate how prompt they were with trying to fix the problem. I will definitely buy from LEVIITEC again.These are super cute and colorful. They obviously charge best in direct sunlight which results in a few hours of light. On cloudy or rainy days they still charge, but only for an hour or so. I would give these a five-star review, except one string stopped working consistently after less than a week. Every few days they will light somewhat lethargically, but otherwise they stay dark.

These were so cute when I took them out of the box. I charged them as it said to do. I was only able to put them out about 3 days until Halloween. I think I may have gotten a string that wasn't great. The very night put them I out it seems they had a short in them. I contacted the seller and they were very helpful and returned my money right away. I will order more for next year as my Halloween decorations have all ready put away for this year

It seems a little silly to write a review for a (almost disposable) bit of fun. We normally do not decorate the outside of our home because of the hassle of stringing lights and then the extension cord but while looking at some other solar powered lights these popped up. I thought they were cheap enough so why not. I really was not expecting much so they met my expectations. From opening the box and securing them to our porch and putting the solar collector out five minutes. That night after dark went to check on them and they provide a nice simple holiday display. They are small enough I will be able to store them for next year.

These ghosts are enough to go up the railing of our 4 step porch. Easy to untangle out of the box. Very durable little lights too. They are literally solid. These get sun about 70% of the day and while they aren’t shining by the early morning (5am) they certainly make it into very late evening (12pm and on). They don’t change settings on you and stay where you select - auto on, blinking or not. I’d recommend these lights! Pair them with the pumpkin solar lights (see related items) for the perfect Halloween look.

I just got these this morning. I was worried that they wouldn't work tonight because just after I put them up cloud cover moved in. However, the little bit of sunlight they got through out the day was enough for them to actually work. I'm thoroughly pleased with these, now I can decorate my porch without having to worry about dragging drop cords in the house or around the backside of the house; and they're budget friendly! I just wish there were larger strands of these guys they only covered part of my front rail on the porch and I don't get enough sun coverage on the other side to comfortably put a solar panel over there.
