I bought this as a birthday gift for my great niece. She LOVES unicorns and was absolutely thrilled to have this. The quality is great and surpassed my expectations. The personal note included with the diary (from one of the children in the family business that distributes these diaries) was especially touching.

Be careful with the pen around small children. The small, clear cap on the back of the pen was quickly and easily removed by 1.5 year old. Otherwise, 8 year old loved it.

My only granddaughter will turn 10 years old in early August; the perfect age to introduce her first diary.
