A: You will have 2 switches on the same light - both will need to be on for the light to be on.
You could leave the switch permanently on and use the remote to control the light.

**Q: How does this fit into a ceiling rose?**
A: This remote switching device will not fit into a ceiling rose.. It is designed to fit into a 25mm back box. It needs a live and neutral input and a live and neutral to the light fitting.
