Vintiquewise QI003211 Quickway Imports Pair of Silver/Green Rope Curtain Tiebacks, 18 inches, Sage

Purchased these in October of 2015, and they are not the quality described in prior reviews - at all. I bought these for a costume, but the quality is so horrible that I feel compelled to write a review so that others are not misled. First, they are fuzzy - all over. It is like the thread has been rubbed, so they are not tidy or new looking. Second, the gold is wrapped around either a black or brown cord, and that black cording is sticking out in various places in the string- it looks terrible. Third, the tassle is glued at the top with what appears to be hot glue, and the actual threading at the very top of the tassle that wraps around the top portion does not meet the threading that wraps around the bell portion. Again, we see a black/brown piece of plastic poking through from underneath the gold. Very, very poor attention to detail. Very poor quality. I would not purchase these for their stated purpose. For a costume for my 5 year old (we are draping them around his neck for a costume for All Saints Day), its fine, but for anything else, steer clear.

Purchased these tie-backs to add a touch of formality to sheer panels I hung in a bedroom. I love light in rooms and don't like covering windows so had floral sheer panels hanging on either side of the large bedroom windows with a sheer scarf valance at the top. I looked for a simple but elegant tie back that wouldn't overpower the sheers but would allow them to tie back gracefully at the windows. These tasseled tiebacks are perfect! My guests love the "period" feel of the room (I live in an "historic" home") and the tassels fit into to the decor without overwhelming the sheer panels.

These are super fancy. I like them a lot but they were a little too much for my design application. I’m sure they’ll come in handy for something else someday.

I was pleasantly surprised by these given the price. They look very nice. One of them has fallen apart a little after about a year and a half of use (everyday, untying it to close the curtains and then tying it again). Still, given that they were 1/4 the price of others, I still think it's worth it. I bought about six and only one is a little unraveled. I would buy them again.

I bought a pair of these to decoratively tie back drapes on my canopy bed, and since the color scheme matches well, they look good. Just don't expect too much--they are cheaply priced, because they are cheaply made. As long as you don't intend to handle them much, they'll hold up just fine.

The color is beautiful, but they could have added more chainette fringe.

These are beautiful and worked well for my gold shower curtain. However, I had to pull out the glue gun because one of the tassels' trim was not fully glued to the black base underneath. It was a quick fix and no longer noticeable. Had to give it 3 stars because although they are nice, you don't expect to fix something you paid for that does not require assembling.

I ordered 3 pairs of these, in the gold, the silver, and the red. Won't be using them as curtain or drapery tiebacks. Long story, as to a Buddy System in the apartment building where I live. Won't go into all that. Do want to say these are really lovely. Shipping was prompt, packaging was good, tassels -- well, again, let me say, They are Beautiful! Now and again my thinking drifts off to cogitate to whether I might have any other places where I could be using more of these. Wouldn't hesitate to be ordering even more of them.
