If you have a Rainbird timer and need to add on zones this guy will do it.Ease of installation I would rate it super easy. You slide it up lock the flip tab over to the lock symbol and screw in your wires. The main box is labeled so this can go in any slot EXCEPT the first slot.Performance; it works like it’s supposed to.Value for money; I think it’s very overpriced for what it is, but there were not other options to fit it so factory it was.We added 4 sprinkler valves to our back yard and our box only had spots for 4 and 2 of them were in use for the front. I ordered this turned off the sprinkler timer, popped it in and hooked up my wires. I added the zones in the timer box and it ran on its own like you expect it too.they make a 3 and a 6 add on. The price was only a few bucks more for the 6 and now I won’t need a other one if I need to add more valves later.

No fault of this seller, but odd that Rainbird makes a small device that costs almost as much as the Main Controller board. They must have been watching Apple for lessons. The Expansion module easily plugs in, add your additional zones and its ready to start watering. Good idea, but I think its a little expensive compared to the overall module that you plug it into to do all the heavy lifting.

Amazon doesn't really care much when you indicate on EVERY purchase that USPS doesn't deliver. This module slides right in to an available slot on your ESP-Me Series controller to add 6 more zones! The zone numbers are marked on the controller making the whole process quick and easy.

Nicely added in to our original box. Easy to hook up by following manual. Works great!

If a module goes bad they are so easy to replace. Takes about 60-90 seconds to do

This works very well with the Rain Bird station I currently own. It allows us to add more lines to our dripper system.
