Amazing adhesive BUT BE AWARE
I have purchased this product at Home Depot several times and the tube is 4x bigger than what I received. The tube from Amazon was the size of sample toothpaste your dentist gives you at the of your cleaning--maybe a "hair" bigger. I opened the package and my jaw dropped.

Great product for boat drain plug
Used to install boat drain plug in my fiberglass boat. I've tried other products but none seemed to last more than a couple years. This product is made for hull penetrations. About 20 minutes work ability before a skin forms. Forms a rigid but not hard/brittle seal.

Marine grade greatness
Always works great. Just make sure you’re not sloppy with it. Cure time is long but it stays pliable. Wish it was a little cheaper.

Very effective sealant for boats, a must-have for marine applications
I've used this 3M Fast Cure 5200 for all sorts of purposes over the years, primarily on my boat. Whenever I drill a hole or put a screw into the boat's hull or transom, this stuff is going on the screw threads or in the hole to seal it from water permanently. I've patched holes up to 1/2 inch in diameter using just 3M 5200 and I've never had a drop of water get in through that hole afterward. It's pretty amazing stuff. I've also used this stuff to adhere loose trim to fiberglass inside my boat, it works well and bonds stronger than most glues on the market. The only downside to 3M Fast Cure 5200 is that it's messy and not very reusable. Even the small tubes are expensive. When you cap after using, make sure you find a way to use the rest of this sealant in the not-too-distant future as the cap will become difficult to remove, and the sealant will harden up near the cap. 3M 5200 sticks to just about every type of material on the planet and is impenetrable to water. For boats, 3M 5200 is a must-have, use it to quickly patch up holes and cracks, it'll keep your boat afloat without any leaks whatsoever.

Great for underwater application
We used it to glue the rubber feet back onto a metal pool ladder. It cures underwater without issue. It's still holding after a couple weeks.

It is a permanent bond with a 24 hour cure time
This is an amazing adhesive that creates a permanent bond when fully cured.

Best adhesive to use in wet areas.
There is nothing else that comes close. My records show I have purchased it 3 times from Amazon. Slow curing so you have plenty of time to position the part and then use something to hold it in place for 24 hours. Generally considered permanant - you will have to cut the glue seam to remove the part so don't use it on something that might need to be removed years down the road. Strong - you bet. I glued some flat pieces of metal to tubing on my boat. I can stand on these parts with all my weight. Pay attention to the directions - no alcohol cleaning prior to gluing. Can be frozen for longer life span. And NEVER wear good clothes while using this. Nothing will take it out of your clothes if you make a mistake. Use painters tape around the glue area to keep the 5200 off the surrounding area. Keep lots of paper towels near by - it is messy and seems to go everywhere by itself. Uses moisture to cure so can get wet before cured. And finally - guessing here - may be hazzardous to use in a fish tank. Lots of odd chemicals in this stuff.
