Elegance Collection-Ladies Talking Watch Gold Tone with Deluxe Beaded Band

Ordered this watch for a visually impaired young woman. The band is pretty and the watch is functional HOWEVER, the beads on the band are held together with jewelry elastic (like you get at Wal-Mart to make your own.) The elastic came untied the first time she wore it and the beads went everywhere. Its cheaply put together considering the price of the watch. I have returned the watch and would not recommend it.

This watch was a blessing for my grandmother. However, it broke after only a few months of use. The button used to make it tell the time started sticking and the band broke off from the watch face. The seller basically said they don't warranty the product and then threatened me not to file a false reason for a return. I found that to be pretty rude. I figured it must be something they have dealt with often since they don't warranty their poorly made product.

Mom has slight dementia and even though she can see the numbers clearly, she has "forgotten" how to tell time. This watch was a big hit. All her friends are so impressed and it's pretty. Some of the others I looked at were very utilitarian. The only problem was the beaded band was a little large for her wrist. But, she was able to find a cloth bracelet that fits under it nicely and holds it in place. I would highly recommend this watch for ladies out there with a hard time seeing or telling time.

The "voice" is about 6 hours off from the watch and there is no way to fix it. I really could have used this, as I drive to work in the dark and often need to know what time it is without messing with overhead lights and backlights.
