Easily remove ALL buildup from inside your toilet bowl
We have really hard water in Anaheim. OK, so what? Unfortunately really hard water is really hard on your toilet bowl (pun intended), and mineral stains are really hard to remove from porcelain. In the old days I used a product called "Crystal Vanish". The stuff was great, within seconds it dissolved ALL mineral buildup from my toilet bowl. Wasn't a fan of the smell (I have trouble with fragrances), and had to be careful not to drop crystals on the floor when opening the container. But all in all, it was a marvelous product, which made cleaning mineral deposits from the toilet a simple task.Sadly Crystal Vanish has been replaced by Scrubbing Bubbles ... ulgh ... which doesn't work on mineral stains and contains way TOO much fragrance. With the exception of CLR, most toilet cleaners don't remove mineral stains ... regardless of how long you let it soak, or how hard you scrub. But CLR is expensive, takes a while to work, and you need a lot to clean out the inside of your toilet bowl. For years I was forced to put on plastic gloves and use pumice (shuddering at the memory) to scrub scale from inside my toilet bowl. Besides the physical discomfort of kneeling on a hard cold porcelain floor, pumice will eventually destroy the glaze on your porcelain bowl. (Definately NOT a good thing)Dry Acid, or Acid Decreaser like Kem-Tek contain "sodium bisulfate", the same active ingredient in Crystal Vanish. Of Course you need to be smart about how you use bisulfate, or any other Dry Acid.Never NEVER add sodium bisulfate to anything with metal plated components (like sinks or bath tubs). It will strip the plating right off (not a good thing). My Mom once used Crystal Vanish to clean out mineral build up in our bath tub, the results weren't pretty.Never NEVER add sodium bisulfate to a toilet bowl containing bleach or other cleaner. It will generate deadly gas which could sicken or kill you. (Duh)The sodium bisulfate in Chem-Tek is strong. Chem-Tek's container has just the right sized opening (perfect for pouring into your toilet bowl) and will quickly remove ANY deposits from the inside of your toilet bowl ... including crystallized urine build up. To use, flush the toilet and sprinkle about a half a cup around the now damp bowl (from the rim down). Wait a few minutes, then scrub everything away. If you have a lot of build up, you may have to repeat the process.Used regularly, sodium bisulfate prolongs the use of your toilet, as it also removes build up on the way OUT of the toilet.Remember sodium bisulfate is an acid. So NEVER touch sodium bisulfate with your hands, and NEVER use it on anything but your toilet or your swimming pool.

Lowers PH, convenient size
Not much to add to the title. It works, lowers the PH as advertised. Doesn't take much, a capful or two in our spa usually does the trick. Then very little if any until the water is changed. Convenient size for storage and handling.

I don't know if it because my pool chemistry, ...
I don't know if it because my pool chemistry, but I keep doing the acid demand test which calls for about 20oz of this product. I add, wait, test several hours later and it says I should add the same amount of acid again. I definitely have my pool volume correct for calcuating the acid demand. I will try liquid HCl and see if the result is any different... strange. I've added about 80oz in the last 2 days and the pH barely changes on a 16,000gal pool.

PH minus pool
Mixes in the water well, the directions are easy to use. It has not brought down my PH as well as I had hoped, though I am thinking it has more to do with my pool and water than the product. A good price and not a huge bottle.

Works Great, Safer Alternative to Muriatic Acid
I bought this because I don't want muriatic acid lying around my house / garage / shed. This stuff is easy to add, dissolves quickly, and while I don't plan to sprinkle it on my Cheerios, it's still a much safer product to handle than muriatic (hydrochloric) acid. One thing to note: It works well for my small pool, but if you've got 10,000+ gallons of water, you're going to go through this stuff pretty quickly.

Convenient
I always forget to buy acid or pH minus. By time I realize I need it, I'm already relaxing by the pool. Nothing beats the convenience of just ordering it and it just shows up. Works great, packaged well. Pool is crystal clear.
