Must have product
There were no electronic tuners in the 70’s. There were these forks and those silly gazoo-style pitch pipes. Bang a fork off your knee, stick it in your mouth, bite down on it and your head will ring that sweet 440! I still use them today for that initial A tuning when I get new strings. These are quite a value and I have one in each guitar case that I own.

Not accurate
I should have checked the reviews! These are not tuned to A440. Mine were a bit sharper (maybe 441 or 442, didn’t measure exactly). Useless for my purposes. Returned as soon as I realized.

Not 440
None of these three tuning forks agree with each other, and none of them vibrate at 440 Hz, making all three completely useless for tuning. Not sure what the seller is thinking.

tuning fork
These are great for teaching young children about sound and vibration

Not A440
I read the other reviews; I should’ve believed them when they said the tuning forks are not A440. I tried all 3 tuning forks and they all sounded like A665 or a A sharp. They’re completely useless, and I’ll be returning them. No wonder why they were significantly cheaper than the other tuning forks listed on Amazon. What a waste of time.

NOT 440 Hz, not even consistent
DO NOT BUY for tuning or musical purposes. The 3 tuning forks I received did not match each other in pitch, and NONE of them was 440 Hz. One sounded nearly an entire half step sharp. Very disappointing. This might be useful for a science demonstration, I guess. But NO ONE should tune their instrument using one of these.

5 cents sharp
Not much else to say, all three of them sounded at about 445. Not suitable for standard A440 tuning.

Worthless. I should have read the reviews.
Well, that was a waste of 10 dollars. I tested them with an electric tuner and all three are way off. They are not even in tune with each other. You can strike any two at the same time, press their bases into your desk or a soundboard, and clearly hear the out of tune beats. It does not appear as if they were ever calibrated.
