Super captivating book, both for kids and adults
This book is so well thought-out in terms of arranging the subtopics and presenting them in a fun and captivating way, with lots of images and fun facts to capture kids' (and adults') attention. This helps to bring physics alive in everyday life, as well as making the most advanced topics accessible. A book that your child will not grow out of and will keep coming back to over and over again!

Let down by illustrations
I have seen a copy of this book. The text is generally fine but, as so often happens with science books, some of the illustrations are highly misleading. Even the cover has a couple of howlers; the spectrum of light leaving the prism is refracting upwards (should be downwards) and several sets of field lines in the magnets diagram are pointing the wrong way. Some child is going to be confused.
