The screen catches on the t-shirt material while in use. The lint collects around the inside of the screen, THEN it goes into the bin. It slides back to empty. The blades tend to cut a seam or hem threads. I use 'Fray Check', to keep a hole from getting any larger and thread from unraveling. I've found when using fray check on many materials that using a warm iron on the area helps to make the spot relatively invisible and pliable. Using a lot of it in one place the fray check will dry hard and stiff and may be visible. Be sure to put something between layers of material.Use the razor carefully by moving slowly, to 'the four corners' and a in a circular pattern while keeping your material straight and held with a bit of tension. This razor attacked a massive pill invasion on a 24month size t-shirt. Well, except for a small hole and cut threads on 2-3 areas of seams both front and back of the shirt😖 There is a little scottie dog embroidered on the collar and the razor past over it with no damage. Keep the material smooth and work carefully and you shouldn't have too many problems. When I was on the reverse of the dog I pressed too firmly (failing to pay attention🥴) I managed to get a minut hole on the collar. I can only say: work slowly and deliberately, cleaning the blades with the little brush it comes with. Listen to the hum while it's running and when the tone sounds deeper the bin will probably need to be emptied. It runs so much better when clean.😁 Not a bad little razor, certainly worth the couple bucks. 🤗🇺🇸

You get a few swirls at the material, the batteries go dead. I used brand new Duracell batteries both times I tried it. It’s so minuscule an elf could use it. I definitely do not recommend this product.

I purchased this item to see if it could save my Patagonia Better Sweater Jacket. When I had pulled it out of the wash, it had pilling all over from a towel that got thrown into the mix, and I couldn't get it off with a lint brush. It looked AWFUL! So I went online to see my options, and found this little fabric shaver, and thought for a few dollars, why not give it a try? Well, it got all of the pilling off without issue, and I was extremely surprised! I don't know how long this little thing will last, but it saved my jacket with very little effort, so it was well worth the purchase.

This item worked well enough the first couple times I used it, but then completely stopped working after that. I would return it if I could, but apparently it's not possible to return this item after 30 days. Complete waste of money.

It’s a good product. Some of the metal on the front of it cracked on me but I spent 6 dollars on it so I can only expect so much but it definitely does the job. I probably should’ve gotten a more expensive one though

The aluminum cover that is to protect the blade and material well broke the first night I used it. The one my mom used which is the exact one except her had metal cover the protected the blade. I am sure I might of push hard to thinking but for it to literally rip the cover up easily makes me wonder why so flimsy.

I dislike the fact that the item does not function AT ALL. I went to process a return 6 days later and I am seeing that this product is NOT eligible for return. I want to initiate an A to Z return. At the very least the item could have worked for maybe a day or two, but right out of the box, not operational. Rip off. Put two different sets of new batteries in. Nothing happens

It arrived broken today and when you go to return this item it says it's not returnable. I will not buy from him again

Seemed to work well at first, but then kept getting caught on the VERY thin metal cover over the blades, turns out it had arrived damaged and there was a small rip in the metal cover which was causing the blades to catch, and therefore no longer spin.Wouldn't recommend, I'd look for something with a thicker, sturdier cover over the blades, this seemed more like really thick tinfoil than actual metal and I worry this could be a hazard - either for your fingers or your clothes!

I've had this product for over a year and it's still working great! I had to remove a star because in the first month of use (maybe 3x total), the plastic receptacle cracked and would not stay hooked up. I used tape to hold it together and it's still holding, but it should be noted the quality isnt the greatest.But like I said, still using it and within minutes, your shirt is looking new again.

It is very useful for reviving your old favourite sweaters. Natural fibres pill so easily, and this gets rid of them quickly without damaging the clothing. The only problem is the blades get stuck easily if there's a larger piece of material getting caught in it. But you just have to take it out of the way, then it'll be fine.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this little guy! It gets rid of all the pilling so easily and doesn't harm your garments. I had some tights that were really damaged and I thought I would have to throw them away but they are now saved and still in my closet. Such a good price for the quality- definitely give it a try!

Vraiment pas satisfait. La lame arrête de tourner aussitôt que j’essaie d’enlever des peluches sur mon chandail. Soit la lame n’est pas assez tranchante, soit le moteur n’est pas assez puissant. Je n’ai donc pas réussit à l’utiliser sur aucun vêtements.De plus, le plastique était toute jaunit. :-(
