Bought this plug for my older 1999 Ford F150 4.6 liter engine. The plug is well priced for people who don't want to spend a lot of money replacing plugs with expensive ones on an older truck. They fire strong, and fit well. Be sure not to put them into your block without releasing greese on the threads. Buy some if you don't have any. In the Ford engine, the spark plug can be super hard to remove. I suggest you try to get your old plugs out before you buy new plugs, just to see if they actually can come out. Use a thin ling screw driver and a shop vac with a rubber tube to clean out the deep holes or you may not be able to get your socket onto the spark plug right. Good luck with your Ford truck motor. You will need it. It is not an easy job like it used to be.Excellent product.

I've used Autolite plugs for over 30yrs. Still one of the best all around plug manufacturers in the business. Great in Ford applications to replace OEM spark plugs.

these plugs (8 each) were installed in a 4-cyl 99 ford ranger and match those called for by rock auto dot com. there were no issues whatsoever (but the old ones were deteriorated). note that the easy-to-replace plugs on the passenger side are not for the compression stroke - they're for the exhaust part of the cycle. the plugs installed under the intake manifold are the ones that ignite the gas.a couple individuals said they got the under-the-manifold (driver's side) plugs out without removing the manifold. but i'm sure it came with a LOT of effort. the manifold removed easily - 6 bolts lower side, 2 topside plus 2 for the EGR valve (metric wrenches/sockets required). there are a couple small hoses under the upper manifold that are a bit if a challenge to remove and re-install, but nothing an average wrench wouldn't be able to do - use long-nosed needle-nose pliers and a long thin flat screwdriver. a new upper-to-lower manifold gasket was included in a set of gaskets i got from advance auto ($11). it should take you no longer than a couple hours to do the driver side, even if it's the first time you're doing this job. second time, no more than an hour. the passenger side is a half hour job - they're easy. you may have to remove the egr diff'l pressure sensor, but that's just two small bolts. oh, and don't forget anti-seize compound for plugs and bolts.i also installed new wires at the same time: Motorcraft WR4109 Spark Plug Wire Set, amazon page https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BYGJOQ/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1 . the old ones didn't pass the glow-in-the-dark test.

Put these in my old 95 Ford Ranger along with a new set of cables. I was about to put the old truck down but these have given the aging relic some extra life. I was looking for an excuse to buy a new Frontier but this damn thing just keeps going.

Needed to replace my engine coils so I decided to also replace the spark plugs while I had the engine open like I did. Just make sure you have a spark plug gap measurement tool, and to read your car manual to correctly gap your spark plugs to your exact car model.

ordered 6 of these, great plugs except they sent 5 AP104 and 1 AP46. really stupid mistake in my opinion. Now I'm left with 5 new plugs and a very worn out old one in my engine and an extra plug that fits nothing and is worthless to me. So I have to lose out on the money spent on this plug and drive to a parts store to get the proper one. any saving I made by purchasing from Amazon has just been lost and ultimately cost me more. Highly disappointed the greater care was not taken in putting this order together.
