Great for auto detailing
Pros: These are great for cleaning rims that include indents or hard to reach areas. Typical automotive detailing supplies weren’t able to provide a brush small enough to get in tight corners where mud and dust settle. These swabs, slightly dampened with a wet microfiber cloth, do exactly what I need them to.Cons: They are not very sturdy and break in half pretty easily, so you do have to mind how much pressure you apply. When these run out I’ll be switching to a reusable pointed swab, for stability and to decrease waste.Overall, 100% worth the few dollars it cost and I finally have something effective for auto detailing.

Great for mascara mess-ups!
These are a must for touching up mascara messes that get on your eyelids during application. Great price for a lot of them. Easy to pack in your makeup bag, travel bag or purse.

Great for make-up!
I have used plastic pointed tip cotton swabs before and they don't break; these break if you hold too hard, I have big hands-a heavy touch so I don't like that it feels like snapping a tooth pick. I chose wood because I am trying to use less plastic buy I don't like that they break like this. Good price and good for make-up application.

A Decent Q-tips
Diane Cotton Swabs is a pack of 375 cotton swabs, each measuring three inches in length. The swabs are made from a safe and hypoallergenic material, making them completely safe for any skin type. The main material of the stick is plastic wood.Cotton swabs are a versatile tool in any household, necessary for hygiene, beauty, and sometimes even for technical purposes. Personally, I use them for removing makeup and applying cosmetics. Now, let me share a bit about my experience using them. As I mentioned earlier, I use them for various purposes. I was pleasantly surprised by their softness and, one might even say, their delicacy. The ends of the swabs are very soft, allowing for careful cleaning of sensitive areas of the skin, such as around the eyes. The swabs handle tasks like removing excess makeup or applying cream perfectly. And most importantly, they do not leave behind lint, which can be quite annoying. They also effectively remove nail polish. My verdict: Diane Cotton Swabs are a reliable choice, although shrinkflation has reached them as well.

Wimpy Product
These are not great to use in your ears. The midsection is plastic with too much wiggle while using. They need to have a firmer midsection; the cotton tips are okay. I will use them for other things around the house. I chose quantity and price over quality with this purchase. The original Q-tips will be my go to from now on.

plastic
It says that it's all cotton, but the sticks are plastic. I've reported it to Amazon. I can't believe that anyone still would buy plastic swabs anymore, and nowhere in the listing does it mention that it's plastic. The sticks are so soft that they're pretty much useless, except for adding more plastic to the environment. The little bit of cotton is extremely scant. If there were a way to give a zero rating, I would have done that.==============================Beware: There are two products combined on these pages: Swabs and cotton squares. I also see that some of the reviews are for cotton balls. This is very confusing, but keep it in mind as you read the reviews. When I tried to write a review for the squares, the link always took me back to the swabs, so I'm adding the squares review here. I couldn't find any way to rate them separately.I ordered the swabs AND the cotton squares. Don't even think of buying the swabs! But I would rate the squares as 5 stars. They are just the right size and thickness for me to use for toner. They don't feel rough at all, and they don't leave any lint on your skin. I've tried a few other brands, which all fell apart and left lint, and were more expensive.Reading the reviews, it occurs to me that people may not all be receiving the same product. Some say that they are thick; some say that they are thin; some say smooth; some say rough. Perhaps people perceive them differently, but inconsistent quality control would explain these differences. I'm just guessing. In my experience, my package was great.
