Great Flash, Fast shipping!
This is my first off camera flash and couldn’t be happier. Flash was delivered quickly and with free shipping to boost. It fits my a6000 very nicely, since it uses 2 AA batteries, it is not very heavy and the camera feels quite balanced. You can see the from the attached pictures of the TT350S with my a6000 and SEL35F18. I can’t imagine using a larger flash on this camera, as it would just seem too big.The flash is quite powerful indoors and outdoors in shaded areas, however it is not powerful enough to overpower the sun at noon, for that, you will need a much more powerful flash/strobe. This flash works well in the evening, and is much more powerful that the on-camera flash (maybe 2-3x?). I have used the flash in manual mode, however it takes some time to get used to it as it is very powerful. It is best to start off at 1/2 power and then work from that, if used at full power you will have to wait like 2 seconds for the flash to recharge and you may temporarily blind your subject. Or else you can simply use it in TTL mode and it will adjust the power automatically for you!I have tried the flash with my friend’s X1T-S TTL trigger and it is really awesome. I have taken pictures at full speed on the a6000 (1/4000) and the flash works great, both in TTL and manual mode. It takes some patience to set it up the first time, but the key is ensuring they are both on the same channel. In the flash manual mode, you change the settings on the transmitter and it reflects the changes on the TT350S immediately. I am happy that I now have a Godox flash and is compatible with other units and triggers and I can slowly expand my system as needed. The flash itself includes a built in white bounce card that hides within the flash as well as a flip down diffuser which is really neat. The bonus gels included from this seller are great, however I haven’t tried them out yet. I look forward to specially using the orange/gold colored ones, as I have used bounce cards with the on camera flash for baby pictures and really like the artificial sunlight effect.

Highly Impressed with this for the price!
I own a Sony A55V and I bought both this and the Yongnuo YN560 IV at the same time. This arrived first and I have to say it is freaking awesome!! I did not realize that it would be as small as it was, but I now understand there is a correlation to the numbers (Duh). The Yongnuo arrived the following day and I will speak about that at the bottom. It was the perfect size to fit in my camera bag, and it was super easy to use on my Sony A55V once I put the ADP-AMA shoe adapter (which you absolutely will need to get this to work on a Sony A55V). With the adapter it sits about and inch higher off the camera, but it still felt plenty sturdy.I only used it for a day because I decided to return it and go with a bigger 860II-S version, but the construction felt solid and I definitely think it was worth the price. Like other reviews though, I have to say that the battery compartment did make me feel like I needed to handle it carefully, but that's not really a complaint.Because it is smaller, and has a smaller guide number, the output is not going to be up there with the bigger models. You won't be overpowering the midday sun with this, which is why I decided to go for the bigger package that includes the wireless transmitter, but I do think a sunset setting is probably workable. This particular model does not allow high speed sync while it is on the camera, and I did not have the transmitter so I could not test that out. The zoom function impressed me with how much more concentrated the light becomes at the same distance. While the Yongnuo 560 IV did work and have more output, I decided to return it as well because it required that I stack a Pixel TF-334 shoe adapter ON TOP of the ADP-AMA adapter to work. I was not comfortable with the physics of that setup. If you have a Sony A55V (or 33/77) you will need those two adapters to get a Yongnuo to operate on camera.

Decent flash with solid price point, could use some improvements.
First of all, it was smaller than I expected, that wasn’t a turn off for me though, just not what I was expecting. I appreciate the price point but I used this for a dark wedding venue and the flash misfired consistently, I tried everything and it worked fine when I was taking test shots, but when the time came and I needed consistent work it failed me.Other than that, my only other complaint is how terrible the battery life is. This is operated by AA batteries. The equipment feels well made and it’s withstood rain and snow so the weather proofing is decent as well. I do think that the manufacturer is solid and it’s a great starter flash for novice photographers or anyone on a budget. If i realize I’m doing something wrong which caused the issues stated above, I will update my review.

Beginner's best friend, not for fast-paced shoots
I've been using this for the past 6 months or so, and it's worked so beautifully. Very affordable and definitely get's the job done for an environment that's not very fast-paced. I shoot a lot of live events (drag performances, theatre, concerts, etc.) and the response time lacks. In the time I need to take 6 pictures, the flash will give me power for about 2 of those 6, which results in a lot of lost moments. If you're in an environment where you can take your time and are in no rush to get photos, get this! If you're in a fast-paced, equipment-dependent, time-crunch environment, DO NOT GET THIS. Overall, a really great product.
