Mead Memo/Subject Notebooks (MEA45478)

I've been getting these notebooks for a number of years and really like them, though the original version was better, as one reviewer has noted. However, the last one I got had a problem with the wire binding, preventing the book from completely laying flat. That's when I found out that the return policy for the vendor, Best Source Office Supplies, requires the book be in original condition -- oops, I had begun writing in it -- and I'd have to pay a 20-35% restock fee. Yeah, it's just a few bucks, but annoying. So check the return policy for your vendor before ordering.

I recently ordered 4 of these because I already had one with a cover very much like the one with the gray covered pictured which has a HEAVY paper cover. What I received was a notebook with a very cheap, shiny, thin paper cover and thinner paper sheets. If I knew this is what I would receive, I wouldn't have ordered.

Bought for my mom to keep track of things to talk to the Dr's about.

Just the right size for use as an exercise log.

I was hoping to find a nice small notebook to hot down thoughts and such. This notebook is the perfect size and has more than enough pages but when on the run I like a hard cardboard back cover to lean on and the back cover here want hard enough for me
