CLEAN, SMOOTH and tastes PHENOMENAL!
This is the BEST protein I have ever had! I needed something that mixed well with JUST water (no clumping), tasted great and above all else had NO artificial sweeteners. It seemed like ALL protein powders had sucralose in it and I was really at my wits end. If it didn't have sucralose in it then the reviews said that it tasted terrible. What I love about this brand is that I was able to order 2 sample packets from their website first in 2 different flavors so that I could try it out before ordering a whole big container of it. I am SO glad I did. Not only is it free of artificial sweeteners but it mixes SO nice and smoothly with water. NO clumps what so ever. And lastly it tastes GREAT! I have finally found EXACTLY what I was looking for when I starting to lose all hope! I will be a LIFER with this protein powder! Right now I have the MOCHA MINT which tastes INCREDIBLE! I also tried the cinnamon swirl which I also liked. I can't wait to try ALL of the other flavors! Chocolate PB is next on my list!

I was tired of all the overly sweet and processed crap
I have tried many protein powders. I was tired of all the overly sweet and processed crap. Did alot of research on this brand and bought it recently. I had just bought Cellucor and not to mention the flavor I ordered made me gag. That was with a banana and almond milk so water alone was unfathomable. I am not a picky person and can drink most things. The worst if all was the major flare of IBS that happened. As soon as I stopped day later I was fine. This powder is not overly sweet. Indo enjoy my protein powders with almond milk and other things. This one with just almond milk is great. I ways use a blender. It tastes like cake... but not overboard. You can use this base to make many different tastes. BEST OF ALL my stomach has been great. No bloating either which was a problem with some others. I do not notice a Stevia aftertaste like some other users. I will be sticking to this brand.

Tastes so so so BAD
Seeing as how there are more good reviews for this flavor than bad ones, I am starting to question my taste buds. How can this taste SO HORRIFIC to me, but good to others? Anyway - birthday cake - I was expecting some sort of vanilla-y tasting shake. I mixed 1 scoop with 16 oz. of water the first time, by accident. I tasted it and thought 'oh no... something just isn't right!!' so I threw it out and started over again. This time 1 scoop w/ 8oz. Same taste, just thicker and just as gross. I was really excited to try this product bc it's the "cleanest on the market," but it is seriously unpleasant. I ordered the chocolate and that's on it's way and I will keep an open mind, but am starting to regret ordering that one without first trying this one.

Delicious
This is the third flavor I've tried from these guys and they are all delicious. I've tried some other brands of whey that tasted bad. Thank goodness for this brand.

Good overall, although it does not dissolve easily/uniformly
Good ratio of protein by weight to total weight per scoop (25/28.4 grams). The flavor is pretty thin, which is fine - but for being a whey protein isolate, it does not mix very easily or very completely without the aid of a blender ball. When using a heaping scoop with 16-20 oz. of water, even vigorous shaking leaves pea-sized or larger lumps. Perhaps, this is best used in blended applications or with other powders that will help it dissolve more uniformly.

But the best thing about it is the ingredients
This is for the Birthday Cake flavor. The flavor itself is "meh". More of a vanilla flavor (yes, they are referring to vanilla birthday cake as 'birthday cake', which is a case of clever marketing). But the best thing about it is the ingredients. So little ingredients, and natural sweeteners. The sweetness is less for me, but I know I can sweeten it up extra with my own stevia/erythritol powder that I already have at home. I have always wanted a clean protein powder devoid of junk, and this one fits the bill really well. If you want better health, you better pay for it.Edit: I am downgrading this to '2'. I am seriously waiting to get rid of it and wouldn't mind throwing it out. The flavor most of the time gets really painful and I have to add a lot of stuff to mask the flavors.

About Time WHey Protein Isolate
I'm glad that the "Nutrition Facts" support that this protein is very healthy, & that is why I will continue to use it (for now). I had used another hghly-touted brand, a little less expensive, for about a half yr. but got tired of a bad aftertaste & decided to try this now. I 1st tried 4 different individual-size flavor packs, ordered from their website, & decided to get the 2lb. size of Birthday Cake and also Chocolate Peanut Butter. I generally consume 2 of these smoothies/shakes daily - 1 in the morning before breakfast, & 1 after my workout. On occasion, I may use one as a meal replacement.Well, after using this brand for the past wk., I'm glad to report I have no bad aftertaste. However, I honestly have to agree with a lot of the reviews I read (either here &/or at the brand's website), that they really have almost NO TASTE, regardless of their flavor. The Birthday Cake tastes a creamy sweet flavor (& I can "imagine" it to be a buttercream cake taste) & I also sense a creamy taste for the Chocolate PB but NOOOO chocolate or PB taste :o( I've tried making these smoothies with either coconut/almond milk or water, with or without plain nonfat Greek yogurt, & sometimes I may add frozen fruit for flavor (with the Birthday Cake). The only thing I haven't tried is just putting the mixture in a bottle & shaking it, as opposed to making it in my Ninja blender. Maybe that makes it too frothy/creamy?Anyway, it tastes good & is healthy, but the flavor seems to be bland or muted. A customer service person at the website told reviewers having the same complaint to adjust the amount of liquid &/or powder used, for more flavor. It's expensive enough, that I'm not going to use MORE than what they say! It doesn't taste bad - just very little flavor. I will probably try different flavors in my next order.
