Nicer then my AITOR jungle 1.
Nicer then my $285 AITOR jungle 1 survival knife and a fraction of the cost. I sent my AITOR back, and I kept this one. Sharp blade, nice quality sheath, very well made knife for the money.

Great tool!!!
Very impressed with this survival tool. It has a sharpening stone under the parachord. It is heavy, sturdy and came very sharp, and the serrated edge can be used to saw large limbs with ease. The compass works the way it is supposed to. The handle has a rubber gasket to store items that you don't want getting wet, ie. the band aid, matches, and the flint pad for the matches. The sheath insert allows you to store the rubber sling shot tube, sling shot pouch, fishing hooks, fishing line, weights, needle and thread, pencil, surgical blade, and for easier access I placed the sharpening tool in there as well. The small surgical blade can be used for first aid or making an arrow head. The small knife tool has a gutting tool, can opener, and can be used as a wrench for bolts. Finally, it came with a good amount of parachord. Overall it came as advertised, except it was mixing the fire making stick/flint. It is at a fair price. Overall, I'm very satisfied and thus gave it 5 🌟. I recommend it for preppers, hunters, campers, or knife enthusiasts.

Great for the price Junk the Sheath.
Most of the reviews were pretty accurate. It seems there have been some improvements; The knife itself is "large" and reasonably well made for the price. It, along with the smaller blade will hold an edge and is quite shart. NOTE: the blade is over 8" long. The items stored in the handle are fair, minus the pencil and the band-aid. Everything else should work well if you have nothing else. There's plenty of paracord to use for tools or more importantly, making shelter. The slingshot might work in a pence but I'd rather tried fishing first. Now for the bad news; the sheath is junk. I had to modify it extensively just to be able to release the items it holds. Made of a cheap plastic, it may be a good idea to invest in an Army Surplus sheath.

Perfect gift for anyone
Bought this for my husband as a gift and he loved the quality. The blades are nice and sharp. And great pack to have on hand. I think everyone should have something like this on hand! Easy to take with you camping or hunting.

Good knife but bad sling shot.
Seems like a heavy duty knife and comes with a nice collection of useful survival gear. In case it is not obvious, this knife is not full tang and can break more easily when twisting and hacking. Although, the blade is thick and feels more like am ax than a knife so it might hold up better than some other knives I've used. I haven't used the sharpener that comes with the set yet but it looks rough enough to create a new edge but you'll need to fine something else to hone the blade. The set includes another Skelton knife, which fits my hand very comfortably and is equipped with a gut hook. It also has a much small knife in the handle of the larger knife that can be used for scrapping or some small tasks. Overall, I love it. The sling shot is silly and slips a lot but I bought this for the knife, not the sling.

Meh
Pros: you get a lot of stuff for the price.newbie. You do get the basics you need in a survival situation - IF you are experienced in using them. The smaller items are all useful for someone who has at least basic camping/hiking skills but probably not for a newbie. The knife itself is hefty and could be used for batoning as well as stripping bark and making kindling. Having both serrated and a fine edge is definitely a plus and the knife had a good edge right out of the box.Cons: The knife can be too heavy for some and the handle can be slippery to handle in certain conditions. Wrapping with paracord may help but then be too bulky for those with smaller hands. The sheath was a disappointment- hard plastic which made it difficult to get all the elements back in place easily. Also the snap on it broke in the process of being opened for the first time. My son has the same knife and he said he dropped his new knife on the floor and the button compass on the handle popped off.

You might want to take along a sharpening tool or stone as it looks like the knife will require frequent honing
I don't have a lot of experience with survival gear but I was a boy scost in Europe and we a lot of outdoor activities for which knives and hatchets were a must. This is quite a piece of hardware. Sharp blade on one side and a ver effective hacksaw on the other. You will be able to build a shelter with no difficulty and perform other tasks that require a sharp blade a d a strong knife. As suggested for all hollow handle knife I poured very strong glue in the bottom of the cavity to prevent the blade from rattling after rough usage. The few items inside the handle are OK . I might add or replace a few as I will use it for camping more so than for removing bullets from my flesh Rambo style. You might want to take along a sharpening tool or stone as it looks like the knife will require frequent honing. The sheath is very sturdy and it comes with a very usable string. It can be fastened and released very easily. Lastly, you can't really beat the price. All in all a good value.
