They are longest lasting brightest halogen best beam pattern I’ve found. Not white but more usable light than the whiter ones. I drive from before sunset to after sunrise so I go through bulbs and I’ve tried them all. I actually wish my low beams could use an led because the bulb bill is extremely expensive nowadays

I was driving home from a VA eye appointment and stopped on Hwy 80 by a local CHP officer, He mentioned I had a bulb that was out on the passenger highlight. After hitting a deer on my way home a couple months ago, I decided it was time to "upgrade" the headlight bulbs on the car once I got it back from the body shop.I researched all the brands and chose these, partly because they boasted "upto 130%" more light down road. Of course, I didn't really believe this claim, but figured I would give them a try anyway.I leave work at 1:30am and travel some very dark highways and backroads to get home, hence the deer hit!Well, while I won't say these have 130% more light output, these High beam bulbs are a bit whiter and a little brighter than the ones I replaced. Of course, the ones I replaced were the original, 16 y/o bulbs, which they say loose intensity over time. Are these a drastic improvement like they lead you to believe? Absolutely not, but they are probably close, if not equal to the Sylvania Ultras. FWIW.Update: I've had these in for a week now and I will say, they are brighter and go further out than I originally thought. I think they are a good purchase. That being said, I had also purchased the low beam bulbs of this line as well, and I'm definitely not nearly as impressed with those.

These bulbs are much brighter than the original equipment on my Elantra. Now I can see the road even in the rain!

First of all, as a test, I installed SYLVANIA - 9006 SilverStar Ultra in a 2002 for the low beam. At the same time, I installed Philips Automotive Lighting 9005 on the high beam. Tested both, both worked but the low beam is a much brighter light and is much more crisp. I will soon be replacing the Philips with the Sylvania 9005. As I sad, it was a test so I knew from the beginning that more than likely one of the two would be replaced but Sylvania beat Philips hands down, no contest.

The original Honda headlight bulbs were too dim. I didn't want to spend a fortune upgrading to LED bulbs so I went with these top end halogen bulbs. Huge improvement in the headlight brightness and distance! Cost less than a third of what LED bulbs would have cost me. Very pleased and can drive at night with more confidence now.
