Pour humidifier was placed on our basement and it worked like a charm. It's quiet and efficient. We put it straight drainage to our sump drain opening because the collection basket in pretty small. This summer the vent on the rear iced up . We had extreme humidity and heat and had the a/c on continuously for days which made the basement quite chilly. I did some trouble shooting but it continued to ice up. I contacted the company and with in two days a new unit was on the way. The old unit needed not be returned. No issues at all with company service or delivery via Amazon. We'll see what happens with this one. The unit is effective at dehumidifying our large basement .

I bought this dehumidifier because I had water running down my basement walls. It cleared up the dampness in less than 48 hours and has kept it steady ever since. The different options make it easy to keep it running in the background OR to set it for something specific when I need to.The true test was hanging wet laundry down there (it's the only spot in my house where I can hang-dry clothes, which I prefer over using the dryer). I set this dehumidifier to the appropriate setting and followed the instructions to hang the clothes where the dried air was directly hitting them - and I was very impressed when the clothes dried in a reasonable time AND the basement stayed at the right humidity.The filter is a thin screen that I make a point of cleaning regularly, and since I just got the product a few months ago it remains to be seen how well the hose fitting holds up in the back. However, so far I have drained this product both ways (using the built-in tank as well as draining it out with a hose) and both have worked the way they're supposed to, so no complaints there.Overall, this does exactly what it's supposed to and I appreciate the extra functionality of the different settings. Definitely recommend!

The noise level is much lower than the larger version. It works well in the laundry room.

Set up out of box couldn't be easier. Remove tape, hose, and plug in. I set it to continuous and walked away. I love thatbIndont have to constantly check to see if it is getting full, because there is an indicator light that illuminates RED when it is ready to be emptied. I purchased this dehumidifier on May 10, 2023. Went to use it after the winter and plugged it in May 1, 2024 and it wouldn't start. Tried to contact the company and cannot get a response. Tried their phone number, leaving a message through FB as instructed and also through their seller portal on Amazon. There is supposed to be a 2 year warranty on this product. Amazon is no help and the company isn't responding. Will try the warranty protection company I bought insurance from to see if they can help. Do not purchase items from Hogarlabs
