I wanted a small outdoor/indoor thermometer for my back garden to replace a large unreliable one and this one is perfect. It's small but easy to read and accurate. Best of all it's easy to set up and works immediately. I bought another one for the front garden.

Only problem was. The hole in the rear of the outside unit is very small. Had to use a small nail to hang it on

Looks ok. The LCD screen is easy to read, nice sized digits. However, not accurate in the slightest. There's a 2.8c difference between the internal sensor and external sensor. I've had both units sat together for 38hrs and the difference has always remained.But then, I have another digital 3 thermometers and they all read within 0.4c of each other. According to those, my room temp is currently 16.7c.Not 18.2c nor 21cI have not tested whether the external sensor is waterproof/resistant as I wanted to know if the gauge was accurate before placing the sensor outside.So as a gimmicky gadget, it's OK.If you're wanting a true temp reading, then look elsewhere.Will be returning this item.
