SECOND UNIT I HAVE HAD.
Desired to add a HD to an ASUS Vivobook S712JA. The first unit suffered a break due to my negligence but could be glued and appeared to function well. Got a second and upgraded from a HD to a SSD and it went perfect. Take your time and do not stress the cable.

I bought it but that's where I stopped.
I'm concerned this will kill my laptop since I bought a simple charging cord on Amazon that killed a vintage gaming system. Rather not make a test rig for something soo simple that should just work, without needing QC testing.Don't mind loosing a little money now if it will save me more money overall.The sad part is that Asus won't sell this eventhough its needed. And all the other sites that sell this look sketchy. The only one that kinda looks legit is overseas and shipping times from them is horribly slow, even for today's shipping times.
