I have this camera for a long time already and it's working well for all the time, with all the meetings on any known app there is. Picture is good quality and clean. It fits perfectly to my 27 ich monitor and anywhere else. The angle is ok. Sound quality should be alright as no one ever had any problem hearing me. Compatibility. The only thing I had problem with is that the camera is focusing from long distance so it's hard to show any documents etc

Mac Compatibility I have seen a few people say that this device does not work on Monterey. Well I am using Monterey 12.1 on a MacBook Air M12020 and it works perfectly! - I literally just plugged it in (via a powered hub) and it worked straight away in FaceTime, Zoom, Teams & Skype - Everything I have tried so far! All I had to do was switch from the built-in camera to this one. Camera The picture quality is 95% as good as the built-in camera on the MacBook Air, perhaps not quite so good in low light, but is perfectly acceptable and will now allow me to look at my monitor, and still appear to be basically looking directly at the person I am talking with! It is a wide-angle camera, so there is a bit of a 'fish-bowl' effect to get used to, and things that didn't show up at the sides of my room before, are now in shot - time for a blurred background! :-) Mounting The low pressure clip to hold the camera onto the top of the monitor is surprisingly good. It holds it in place way better than I thought it would! Indicators A nice clear red power off indicator, and a bright green one when in use - what more do you need? Audio The audio is fine, again the Built-in MacBook Air Microphone is probably just a touch better. (I have opted to continue using the MacBook Air Microphone as most apps will allow you chose the video from the camera and audio from the MacBook) All-in-all a good product at a low cost. 4 stars just because of the fish-bowl I have to get used to...

This was ordered to replace a faulty webcam. This had slightly better specifications than the one it was replacing, but at a better price. I have to say that so far I have been more than happy with my choice. The picture is light and sharp, even in a poorly lit office. Good depth of field and the sound quality is great. It was a straight 'plug and play' with no complicated instalation or setup. It seems to be well made and durable, but only time will tell. So far, I could not be more pleased. Excellent value

very good webcam well worth the price and very good in what needed

2nd one of these and first lasted years and had great video and sound..I was really pleased especially given I need people to hear me very clearly and they did and do with this one too. It may be a little unfair with 3 stars for this review but this one is a year and couple months old and the camera keeps checking out in really important meetings. Not sure what happened to the quality or if just unlucky. All round an inexpensive and great camera 5 stars. This one's life being affected =3 stars

Excellent value. Good image quality and microphone. If you are used to an external camera with software, it takes a while to find the controls in your system software, but they are all there. Works extremely well in low light - the light from my monitor is usually sufficient. Doesn't care what app you are using: MS Teams, Zoom, WhatsApp, etc.

First of all, this webcam is definitely not 1080p, picture seems more like sub 720p, awful quality lens in there, someone else mentioned this in a review, wish I'd listened to them now. It also warps the picture top and bottom, it has a fish eye effect to get a wider view. Second, i plugged it into the front USB2 port and it was picked up straight away by my computer, did a few tests in OBS and everything worked ok(apart from the picture quality) so decided to move it around the back to a permanent USB2 socket, my PC pinged at me saying it had picked it up, then after around 5 seconds it pinged again saying it had lost the connection, did this around 10 times, so i moved to a different USB socket, same again. Plugged it back into the front socket where it had worked, exactly the same thing as the back USB's. The webcam lasted all of 20mins. it's dirt cheap for a reason folks. Will be returning for a full refund.

This is the first webcam I have had and so far it is working very well. I was surprised as to the quality of the picture and how easily it connected to my PC.

Bei meiner neuen "Switch 2"-Konsole wollte ich gerne die Kamera-Funktion ausprobieren - ohne gleich 60 Euro für die offizielle Nintendo-Kamera zahlen zu müssen. Für diese No-Name-Kamera habe ich ein knappes Drittel bezahlt und bin völlig zufrieden. Die Kamera hat auf dem Datenblatt weitgehend dieselben Eigenschaften wie die Nintendo-Kamera: 1080p-Auflösung, großer Weitwinkel, Anpassung an schwierige Lichtverhältnisse. Die 1080p werden durch einen Test an meinem PC bestätigt. Die Switch 2 scheint diese Auflösung für ihre Kamera-Funktion aber bisher nicht wirklich zu nutzen. Das Testbild auf der Switch 2 zeigt sichtbare Treppeneffekte. Das ist aber in Online-Testvideos der offiziellen Kamera genauso. Offenbar rechnet die Konsole die Auflösung also direkt runter, um Daten und Rechenleistung zu sparen. Sitzt man also in einiger Entfernung zum TV und zur Kamera, wird das eigene Gesicht auf der Switch 2 schon relativ pixelig. Da man das aber ohnehin meist nur in einem winzigen Bildfenster sieht, ist das verschmerzbar - die Konsole soll ja vor allem die Spiele flott wiedergeben. Den Weitwinkel habe ich nicht nachgemessen, abie Kamera fängt aber einen ordentlich großen Bereich meines Wohnzimmers ein mit mehreren Spielern nebeneinander (nutzbar zum Beispiel im "Mario Kart"-Multiplayer-Modus oder demnächst in der Switch-2-Edition von "Super Mario Party Jamboree"). Der hier teils kritisiserte Fischaugen-Effekt ist dabei für meinen Geschmack eher gering und bei der Nutzung mit der Switch 2 nicht wirklich bemerkbar. Durch ihr Kugelscharnier ist die Kamera außerdem auch bei Montage auf dem Fernseher gut individuell ausrichtbar. Mit schwierigen Lichtverhältnissen kommt diese Kamera gut klar. Im Dunkeln mit zwei Metern Abstand vor dem Fernseher wird mein Gesicht dutlich aufgehellt wiedergegeben. Ob das die Kamera macht oder die Switch-2-Software - keine Ahnung, aber funktioniert. Eher mäßig ist dagegen generell der Video-Effekt, bei dem die Switch 2 den Hintergrund wegrechnet. Das ist (genau wie bei der offiziellen Kamera) realtiv unsauber. Ich bevorzuge die Darstellungsvariante "Gesicht im Kreis". Was mir bei dieser Kamera tatsächlich besser gefällt als bei der Nintendo-Kamera: Man kann sie (wie die meisten Webcams) einfach oben am TV-Bildschirm befestigen (während die Nintendo-Kamera mit ihrem Ständer immer eine gerade Fläche zum Abstellen benötigt). Das ist vor allem praktisch, wenn der TV an der Wand hängt ohne irgendeinen Tisch davor. (Die Webcam hat aber auch ein Standard-Schraubloch für ein kleines Stativ - das kann man sich ggf. dazu besorgen.) Die Kamera lässt sich - anders als Nintendos - auch einfach oben an die Switch 2 im Handheld-Modus klemmen - leicht versetzt, um die Lüftung der Konsole nicht zu blockieren! Die Halterung bedeckt dabei einen winzigen Teil des Bildschirms - nicht schlimm. Anders als die Nintendo-Kamera hat diese Webcam übrigens auch ein Mikrofon eingebaut. Man kann im Switch-2-Menü wählen, ob man zum Chatten das Konsolen- oder das Kamera-Mikrofon nutzt, und vorher auch mit Testaufnahmen ausprobieren, welcher Sound besser ist. Bei mir gewinnt da tatsächlich das Webcam-Mikro, da die Konsole etwas tiefer im Couchtisch-Schatten steht. Die Sound-Filter der Switch 2, die z.B. die Spielgeräusche rausrechnen, werden auch für das Webcam-Mikrofon angewendet. "Game Chat" mit Kamera+Mikro in zwei Meter Entfernung funktioniert prima. Was man noch wissen muss: Diese Kamera kommt mit einem USB-A-Stecker - um sie direkt an die Switch-2 anzuschließen, benötigt man daher noch für wenige Euro einen USB-A-auf-USB-C-Adapter. Die Kamera lässt sich allerdings tatsächlich auch mit dem USB-A-Stecker an das Switch-2-Dock anschließen - eine Möglichkeit, die Nintendo überhaupt nicht kommuniziert. Das finden manche vielleicht ohnehin schicker. Ist das Dock beständig als Ladestation am Strom, leuchtet dann allerdings dauerhaft die rote Stand-by-LED der Kamera. Ist sie direkt an die Konsole angeschlossen geht sie dagegen komplett aus, sobald die Konsole in den Ruhemodus geschaltet wird. Ob die Kamera tatsächlich aktiv ist, wird durch eine weitere LED angezeigt. Eine Objektiv-Abdeckung hat diese Webcam nicht. FAZIT: Zu einem Drittel des Preises der offiziellen Nintendo-Kamera bekommt man hier eine sehr gut nutzbare Alternative. Das eher mäßige Bild bei der Nutzung mit der Switch 2 scheint eher an der Konsolen-Software als an der Kamera zu liegen, denn das ist ganz offenbar mit der offiziellen Kamera auch nicht anders.
