I was looking for something that is ideal for both the food & water combination but without the faf of picking up both feeders in one to fill & clean whilst spilling the wet water/Milk bowl on the wayThis combination with the lift out stainless steel inserts solves this problem as they come out individual & more importantly very easily.I only change the water when required or fresh within the 2nd day. So for cleaning purposes or food top up I only have to pick up the one food steel dish .The green plastic casing also acts as a spillage area if you do have messy pets so the food & water lands on the outer tray that is sufficient & wide enough without being too over sized with a raised outer lip to keep spillage wet/dry within its plastic outer case.The description on the size is accurate 14 inch wide x 7 inch but the colour description says aquamarine which I feel is inaccurate.It’s not a green/blue it’s 100% sage like green which is exactly what I wanted it to be & as my pictures depict.It’s a hard thick moulded plastic shell (good quality) not silicone & it could be used as a feeder on its own without the steel insert bowls if you prefer.My cat tended to move the previous bowls which were separate plastic ones around the floor but this now stops the problem. It also comes with 4 push in grips for underneath if needed to stop it sliding around on hard floors & they do work really well.Like mentioned the steel bowls simply lift out very easily which is Gr8 but are secure enough when placed in the sage green outer casing for to remain in place when your adult cat or small dog feeds.I think there much better than my existing separate ones & the colour fits in well with my kitchen.I found it took some time to find what I was looking for which was a slightly lifted off the floor feeding station,not too over sized that’s great for spillage & the perfect colour for me.Many seemed overpriced made from breakable & not dishwasher safe materials & were too high & would have been in the way when I need to go in the lower kitchen cupboard .This being steel & a solid moulded plastic I feel it’s indescribable ,dishwasher safe & will last a long long time.worth every £ & penny.Many reviews seem to be Australian/US based but I’m here in the U.K. & it arrived Next day prime.I love it & most importantly so does my fussy pussy cat. 5 star

Ease of cleaning - yes that’s easy. Easy to put the food into it - yes that’s easy. Appearance - it’s a pleasant enough colour, maybe not the most aesthetically pleasing item in the world, but that’s not why this item came up high in your search I’m guessing.Right, this was marketed as being for ‘less mess’ and (long story short) Gloria Gaynor is a cat who has special needs and physical issues which lead to her unintentionally being a very messy eater. She’s a small ‘rescue’ that was unplanned and I’m having to try different things and be creative. Received this on Sunday and she seems to be getting on better with this than tilted bowls, standard bowls or plate; it catches some of the dropped bits and we have less on the floor/wall/behind a bowl so at the very least we have a better assessment of how much Gloria has managed to get ‘inside herself’.Truth is she may also benefit from a bib of some sort and we do still have to have a wipe with a damp cloth at least afterwards. She’s eating from this apparently comfortably and more seems to be going into her (same type of food).So this seems to help her and if any rescue takes her (Amazon can’t do that for me) then she can take this with her; it’s hers. Value for money - if it helps an animal/fur baby get their nutrition and keeps them healthy and comfortable that’s more valuable then anything in my book and to be fair if it saves pet food from being swept up and binned because it’s been on the floor it does save waste.I can’t promise it will work for you/your fur baby/the animal you are caring for; if you’ve tried other things that haven’t worked out, it’s worth a try.….and yes, Gloria Gaynor is a big name for a small cat with a lot of issues, but she will survive and I’m no cat professional so I’m just doing my best to help my little diva do just that.

it was lovely but had to return it as too small

Wanted something that wouldn't take up too much room and would be practical. I always have an issue with spills so this set looked to be a good choice. I'm over the moon with it and so glad I decided upon this set. It's quite small but big enough for a day or maybe more with dry food as I'm using. There's never any stopped on the floor and no water spillage. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

I think these are the best cat food bowls we've ever had. They look neat and strong, but also they do the job which is stop the dry food from being spread all over our kitchen!! One of our cats loves to scratch her food forever and she regularly makes her dish move somewhere different with the added bonus of her food being on the floor. We've had this for a couple of days and it's working 👍 very pleased, would buy again.

Finally found water bowls that my cats cant tip over and drag the length of my flat. I was losing hope for my hardwood floors as they were constantly damp. My cats are very persistent and conniving but they cant seem to tip this over. It looks nice and is very easy to clean, the bowls are loose so i just attached them lightly to each dimple with a bit of rolled up masking tape.
