I am wiring my new house build with this switch. This feels very solid and the app is very intuitive and easy to manage. So far the actual network, sub-net, and many features are working as expected.I haven't used this for very long, but I am very happy so far.

First switched used for my new business, Cisco never let me down

ABSOLUTE JUNK!!! Plugged it into a fiber system and it downgraded a 1800mg system to 78! The Cisco support will not help you unless you buy a support contract and have a business license. I have never been more frustrated with customer support... they literally will not talk to you unless you set up a business account.

Bought this for a new site, needed one that can do gigabit and POE. This one does both for ALL ports. It also has 4 1GB SFP connections, so I can always connect out to others via fiber if needed. However, the configuration can be a little convoluted, even thought it does have a GUI. Just go nice and slow and look things up to make sure you do it right. You mess up your VLANs and you could lock yourself out.ONE BIG NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU CHANGE BOTH THE USERNAME AND THE PASSWORD. Leaving either one of them "cisco" and it will not work properly and you will need to reset the switch to factory defaults and start over.Ours is currently running two basic VLANs and about 18 devices, 10 of which are POE. It's working great and having no issues.For the price, these are great and whats even better: NO LICENSING FEES!!!
