The book is set out that is easy to read and to find chapters that are needed at the time without reading the whole book in one go. The language is easy to understand and can be used by families at home and by professionals in school. I found by breaking the stages down it was easy to see where your child is what help could be done to progress their speech.

Absolutely the best book I’ve read in a long time! Haven’t resonated with a book so well! 100% worth a read through several times over

Easy read and useful at a very basic level

This has some great summaries to simplify SALT terminology. Also really liked the support and ideas to use at home

This book has been a great help for myself and my 18mo old. Sometimes all you need as a parent is reassurance and this book is written clearly and in a nurturing environment. It has excellent advice and tips for you to use with your little one and the main thing I took from the book is perseverance, Rome wasn’t built in a day, it also gave me the confidence to reach out to other professionals.

Really good read with a great insight into speech delays, really helped me to understand.

Very informative and easy to read. My 27 month could say lots of singular words but for a very long time struggled to put two words together and I started to worry that he never would. Within days of reading the book and picking out the elements that I thought related to us his speaking has really improved in such a short space of time. He’s regularly putting 2/3 words together and he is a lot more expressive and talkative than he’s ever been. A very happy and relieved mummy!

This is a terrible book not only is it littered with grammatical errors, it has also not been spell checked by author or publisher. I bought this book as it was advertised as a aid to better understanding communication in toddlers/children but also stated the book contains strategies to help children with communication. The strategies are not explained, basic level of information is given. Very disappointed with this book.
