Chocolate Covered Roasted Espresso Coffee Beans (2 Pound, Dark Chocolate)

I've been a connoisseur of dark chocolate coffee beans for many years. I had settled on Trader Joes in recent years...but...the last several times I've shopped at Trader Joes they were "out of stock". After asking when they would return, no one knew...so...I resorted to Amazon. I started with another brand on Amazon. They were just OK... not up to the quality and taste I was accustomed to so I tried this brand, First Choice Candy. They are easily the best dark chocolate covered coffee beans I've had. They are consistent in size (no tiny pieces at the bottom of the container) and so wonderfully yummy and reasonably priced. They have become my favorite treat. I highly recommend.

What do you say about chocolate covered espresso? If and I do mean IF you don't have time for coffee (who in their right mind does not make time for a coffee or espresso, chocolate covered espresso, really) these are perfect for that quick snack. I keep mine in the fridge on the door. It's in a bag that has a zip lock type top, but I put it in a gallon zip lock also to be sure its airtight. I bought the large size bag (trust me the large still don't last long enough). The chocolate covered espresso are a good size and the espresso beans are a good size. They hold up well to chocolate coating and the process they use to apply that. The beans are not soft or off flavor, they have a very good flavor (espresso). They need a beer hat type device you can use with these though, perfect for espresso nuts like us. I highly recommend (you buy the big bad)

I recently tried chocolate covered espresso beans, and they are fantastic! The rich dark chocolate perfectly complements the bold coffee flavor. This company gets perfect scores across the board. Not much get my attention unless it is done perfect. Product great, high quality, fair price arrive on time as stated. But what really impressed me was, packaging. Shipping envelope was strong and well padded, high quality. The seal and labeling was nice and neet but the inside of the package was more impressive. It was shipped with a large frozen gel pack to keep the chocolate from melting. But the gel pack was also inside a sealed plastic bag so the condensation didn't leak all over the inside of the package and didn't create condensation inside the chocolate covered espresso beans packaging. The product packaging was top quality very thick mil vacuum pac bag. Everything about this company screams quality. From the product to the shipping. This is how a company should be ran and take care of it's customers. Very impressed

I was skeptical ordering these because I had gotten other beans that were not so great. However these beans are awesome - better than the higher priced ones by far. Delivery was fast and the beans were not melted. Will definitely be a repeat customer.Update: I am not sure I will be a repeat customer. My last order was completely melted!

It taste "Okay" not the best though. the product came unmelted is because the purchase was made during winter. the texture is a little bit waxy and i assume this would give it a higher melting point. the quality is vague since the source of origin in unknown which makes me worried about the level of heavy metals and pesticide contamination. at the time of purchase, it was reasonably priced however, i am not too sure if i will buy it again since the source of origin is unknown.
