This is a good clamp but it is not powder coated. It is painted black and the paint comes off easily. I greased the threads (as others recommended) and torqued to 70 inch pounds (lower than the 80 inch pound max). Holding good so far! I will see how it holds up and report back if there are any issues. I will be buying more clamps but I now know I will have to retouch the black paint to keep it looking good. 3 stars only because the powder coating description is inaccurate.

Very well made but be careful taking them apart for the first time. They'll seize up and the bolt will strip out. I had to work the bolt in and out to remove them and then put anti seize for aluminum on them and they worked much better. Time consuming but worth it.

Didn't want to drill holes in the bed rails on my truck to mount a ladder/kayak rack. These worked perfectly!
