Iconic little synth and Bowie, what's not to love
I have an original 50 year old white Stylophone and this has really got the look but it also has some great improvements. This has a volume control which the original strangely lacked and it has the addition of a 3 octave switch. The original came in 3 models, The Bass, Standard and Lead and this has it all in one. Most importantly of all is that it's a David Bowie Limited Edition and it looks great with 'Bowie' on it. I got one for myself and another for a present. It is a very easy instrument to play and I'm certain that the non musical person I got it for will be playing 'Space Oddity' in minutes. It's also a nice piece of Bowie memorabilia with it's cool looking box.

Love this thing
The media could not be loaded. Super fun instrument, and it's analogue output sounds great through it built-in speakers. If you know your way around a keyboard, it's also fairly easy to play as well. I like the sleek white of the Bowie edition. The instrument still going strong and on the same batteries 5 months later.Note that there is no strangely no aux input like there is on the usual version, but there is aux out which what you're most likely to use anyway.

Stylophones are good
This is good. Always attach Stylophines to Amps or Speakers too or use headphones to get the decent sound from them.

A Blast From the Past
Who doesn't love these - especially those over 50 who bought them en masse in the 60' and 70's. I absolutely love it - and take it out of it's packaging now and again to sniff it. Plays like a dream. Anyone can play one of these... added to which if it was good enough for David Bowie then it's most certainly worth a buy.

A must for any Bowie fan
This stylish Stylophone is a Bowie fan’s dream come true! Reliving my childhood and using the online video tutorials to play along to Space Oddity (and other Bowie tunes). For those who have played the original Stylophone you’ll be transported back to the 1960’s. It’s a simple and enjoyable instrument to play and experiment with. Read the enclosed instructions, insert batteries and give the tab board and stylus tip a gentle clean and you’ll be playing along with Bowie in no time at all! Highly recommended

Collectors only. Bowie probably would have preferred the original.
If you've had the original, then you will be disappointed that this newer model does not perform as good as the 1960/70s version. OK, it has a pitch change, but why, oh why does it change pitch when the vibrato switch is turned off. It goes down a semitone every time & also sounds slightly off key! Amazingly bad!! Could have been worse, it arrived in a brown paper bag, left on doorstep in the rain, a foot away from sheltered porch, rescued by neighbour (I'm English & it is the correct spelling). My 2nd purchase. I returned the first without trying it out, as it had defect marks on the keyboard. Posted about a week ago, still waiting for refund. Had to pay postage cost as the other option did not work, sending me around & around in circles, just like the Chat. 7 times I clicked refund, gave reason, told I'd receive an email within 2 hours. Never came, not in Spam, just wasted my time. Bowie used the original Stylophone on at least 3 songs. Check out the albums 'The Man Who Sold The World' & 'Heathen'.
