Echoslap Solid Siam Oak Bass Cajon -Vintage Dark, Deep Bass Tones, 3 Snare Wires for Crisp Buzz

Wish I had better things to say. The sound is... Fine. And visually the drum looks ok... From a distance. That strip on the side is just a bad stain job, I would have done better myself. They do t even bother to follow the line around the edge of the sound whole as pictured. Must have been a tape job as there's plenty of bleed from the stain so the line doesn't have a straight edge.If your considering buying this over another drum because of the free gig bag DON'T. The back pack strap both broke the first time I used them, walking 6 short city blocks with nothing in the bag but the drum. One snapped on the way there. The other on the way back.The materials of the drum are ok. The oak is actually small boards glued together, but we'll done, unlike the construction of the drum, where the sides top, bottom and back are look like they where pin nailed and glued. With some serious overlap in some places creating snag edges that wheren't sanded down.Plays fine for a beginers drum, I took a photo of the simple 4 guitar string snare system from inside.End of the day. Any ammiture woodworker could build a better drum. When traveling I made a friend one from a kit. Next one I'm building for my self from scratch to replace this one.I'll let you know if they send me a replacement bag.

This cajon sounds AMAZING! There were a few things that really impressed me with this particular cajon:The construction- it's made of solid Siam wood, and it is extremely well made.The sound- nice boomy bass, as well as a nice sizzle in the snare area.Adjustable snare- there are screws that allow the snare to be adjusted along the front plate, as well as at the top of the cajon.Looks- this cajon is a beautiful work of art. I particularly like the front smoke plate!I highly recommend this cajon!

I so much wanted to keep this cajo, but I was disappointed by the quality of the sound, as well as the craftsmanship. It was not nearly as it was described. And it's quite heavy for a house use.

Received today. As it is a Christmas gift I wont know anything about the product until the person it is intended for opens it

I got this for church. Worship had never heard or brand, or a solid body cajon. He was extremely impressed with build, and sound, as was I. A very welcome addition to the band.

The product doesn’t sound good. I bought this for a gift and after the week the instrument wood broke.

Bought this for my grown son for a Christmas present. He loves it! Nice tone. Looks good!He played it all afternoon!!!
