I'm not one of the people who bought this product thinking it was something else. I was able to program my Linear AP-5 to work with it -- for a week or two.But then it completely failed. It wasn't a weak or dead battery. The unit's light would light up, and sometimes stay on, but not operate the gate. Then it wouldn't light at all. Then it would light without anyone touching the button. In short, it completely failed.It claims to have a phone support and a several year warranty. But neither the enclosed product info, its pages on Amazon, or an internet search revealed any way to contact the company at all.Thankfully, it failed within the Amazon return period. If it had lasted a few weeks more, I may have been completely out of luck.

I bought these to put on my motorcycle key ring for when I'm on the bike and don't have the opener from my truck. I was able to program them in less than 30 seconds and they work great for my needs. Definitely would and will buy again

Easy to program in less than a minute and worked fine. Using one for my motorcycle and find the attachment ring flimsy, hoping it will hold up…

Some have had problems with one of the two remotes either not adding to the opener, or adding and then causing another remote to stop working. In my case, both added and worked and the process of adding took about 10 seconds per remote. Range is very good. I have not noted the problem where the edges of the buttons get stuck in the case cutout (so that the button doesn’t return to its “unpressed” position). So overall: cheap, easy, quick, and functions as desired/expected.
