AURA Double Wall Insulated Glass Mugs by Kaizen One - 12oz (Set of 2)

At the risk of sounding like a paid review (it's NOT!)... I LOVE this mug! It's a perfect match for my Keurig, but it's also great for cold beverages. I bought this because I was needing to nuke a fresh cup of Keurig-brewed coffee to get it hot enough before I drank it. With this mug, I don't need to anymore.A ceramic mug absorbs too much of the heat right away, so I have to pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds to warm my coffee up again. And the insulated glass keeps my coffee drinkably hot for much longer than a re-heated ceramic mug.It's equally great for cold drinks because it keeps the contents cool much longer--no sweat!! Literally--you don't have to worry about placing the cup on a wood surface, because it doesn't sweat in warm, humid weather. I used to prefer a thick glass mug I chilled in the freezer, but this mug stays around room temp on the outside, even when the contents are hot OR cold.This mug also has a really nice tactile feel--both in hand and on the lips. I think it looks cool too.I highly recommend you try this mug out for yourself. It's the only cup/mug I use anymore. I haven't broken one yet, but I'm sure they won't last forever, so I do handle them with a little more respect than I'd show a ceramic mug. I bought a pair of them so I'll have a spare, just in case. (I live alone, or I'd buy two pair.)Enjoy!

As someone who rarely reviews anything, I'm sitting here drinking coffee out of one of these right now, I felt compelled to write one. The first thing you notice is their weight. They are extremely light and don't feel like glass, which if there was a downside to these, this may be it. However, their ability to keep your beverage warm is very impressive. Also the mug itself doesn't get hot like a regular ceramic mug might, thanks to the double wall I suppose. We've only had these for a couple of days, but I really do love them.

These glass mugs keep your liquids hot for a very long time, compared to traditional ceramic, china or glass mugs. They are excellent in this regard. However, be aware that they are extremely delicate. They break easily. I broke my third mug yesterday just tapping it on the corner of a glass trivet. You cannot wash them in a dishwasher. Even when I washed them painstakingly by hand, I had one that had water leach into the air chamber between the two layers of glass. If they were more durable, my review would give them a much higher star rating.

I gave these mugs a few test runs before leaving a review. Firstly, when I took the mugs out fo the packaging, I was so surprised by how light it was. At first I thought it was plastic. But then when I brewed some tea and stirred it with a metal spoon, the tinkle of the metal spoon hitting the glass was actually very pleasant to hear. Putting colored teas in mugs really gives it a great appeal, it literally looks like it's floating. Easy to wash and a good size for a full portion. Other mugs I get or always too small. Highly recommendedd

Just received my mugs today and they are AWESOME! Way better in person. Have previously owned a similar style mug from a high end retailer and they scratched immediately and the handle always was way too warm whenever I had hot tea. I have put my new ones to work today and so far they are SO MUCH BETTER. The glass handle stays totally cool even with hot liquid inside, and I ran them through the dishwasher, with no scratch in sight so far. One of the best purchases I have made in awhile from Amazon. Definitely ordering a few more as gifts!

Really enjoyed these mugs, while they lasted. They are glass, and they cracked and broke. I am pretty careful, hand washed these mugs 95 percent of the time, but still lost one in six months and the second one just over a year after purchase. Insulation was great.

Nice mugs. I love that they're so light-weight. However, they're fragile. Of the four mugs I purchased, two cracked within a 2-week period, and the third on cracked after a couple months. I'm down to my last one and I won't be replacing it.

These glasses are stylish and keep tea hot for a long time.I appreciate their look and function.My only problem with them is that they are so fragile.I accidentally knocked one into an empty shallow sink and it shattered into a bunch of very sharp pieces.
