Good EQ
This is a good eq. Did not try the software, but the on unit controls are easy enough. Realistically in most scenarios once you have your settings saved, you'll probably be switching between your saved presets. Again, works well, looks good.

Did Not Work As Expected - Good Luck!
Packaging: Came in single box, luckily it was undamaged. Instructions: Comes with a User Manual, Quick Start Sheet and Trouble resolution sheet. None of these are of much value. The small display window times out within seconds, when selecting a feature, the contrast is poor - get you your glasses! But Wait There's More: It comes with software that actually runs, but is about as useless as the EQ. The software shows when it's liked to the PC. There are buttons in software to store-retrieve settings, but they don't reflect in the EQ when recalled. Setting and recalling up to 10 different sets for the L and R channels would be wonderful - if it worked. There's a BBECC button in software but nothing is explained as to what it does. I would not believe other positive reviews. This is a wonderful idea for an EQ but the execution leaves too much left undone and the instructions that come with it are essentially useless. What an unfortunate waste of time; I simply sent mine back. Perhaps I got a lemon, I don't know. Seems the only 31-band stereo EQs you can depend on are the completely mechanical ones. Good luck if yours works.

It Rocks!
Very low noise floor (even with the gain and volume a bit elevated), smooth in its knob (tactile feel) and levered operation (has a 0 dB notch), solidity built. I have a 10 ft optical cable running from my PC's. To my ears with a little tinkering involved, the result was golden. I do realize this is a far cry from a top-self audiophile setup but the cost to sound quality ratio was a winner for me (I also used 2 pairs of high-quality TS to RCA adapters).

Need better operational instructions
I am an Engineer ,and I found the instructions confusing and incomplete. I am using this unit in my Home Theater as a low pass filter to tune 2 Subwoofers , I loaded the Software in my Laptop , makes adjusting very easy. over all I am giving high marks in performance.

Worse Than That
Needed a Third-Octave EQ and thought this one looked pretty good. After reading some of the negative reviews, I figured it couldn't be that bad and decided to give it a try. It's Worse! While operation from the computer interface is somewhat usable, making adjustments from the front panel is almost impossible. And the LED spectrum display is a joke. While looking pretty, it offers no representation of the actual music being played. Just a bunch of dancing LED's. As for the instruction manual, it's a shame to think some poor tree offered so much in its making. 6 pages of pure gibberish. I seldom return a product unless it's damaged, but this one's on its way back.

Very nice and functional EQ and audi anylizer.
Seems to work well and adds some Razz A ma Tazz to your system. Easy to use and program. Very bright LED's.

An advanced Toy. NOT an accurate measurement tool
This item is a great idea but is unfortunately, poorly executed as a measurement device. It has some good features and functions decently BUT is Not Accurate for real audio work. The PROs : the meter display; the user ergonomics and simple to use interface; surprisingly sound that goes through it and comes out with no noise in spite of the hum coming from the power transformer. The connections are decent too. THE REAL ISSUES >>> THE CONs : The dB level in is too high for what the meters read especially for the level out. I use an accurate db meter output to read 0db and below going into this unit. And the 0db scale in programming of eq puts 0db flat in the middle green section of frequency band as it should... thats not where it measured ( alot of peaks when i know there shouldn't be). The selector knob is WAY too sensitive (hair trigger) and the power off signal spike in low end is potentially dangerous to other gear or speakers (see video). Conclusion : I give it 2 stars instead of 1 because it could be used for non pro users just trying to learn 31band equalization. Turn your amplified gear post this device off as always just in case. I am returning this item

Beautiful and powerful
I'm a fan of spectrum analyzers, and this is a special one. I didn't know anything about this company and took a chance and I am quite pleased. I'm using this with a pair of RCA cables as a preamp and it's beautiful. I love how you can really customize each frequency, preset how you want your EQ settings to be, or bypass the EQ altogether for a direct approach. Excellent product. My only suggestion would be if there was a way to turn off the right screen as it's a little bright during a night of movie watching in the dark. All all all, super!

Not impressed, not true active meter display
The EQ meters are fixed and can’t be influenced by anything you adjust. No EQ setting will make the meters bounce more or less, and changing the input level, output level, or any individual frequency band has zero effect. The meters simply react to the raw incoming signal. In my case, they shot straight to the top and stayed fully lit with no movement at all, which makes them basically useless for monitoring. So just to be clear: the EQ meters do not respond to any EQ changes whatsoever. The rest of the unit works as a normal EQ with plenty of presets, and the BBE processing is actually pretty nice. But overall, it ends up feeling like flashy bouncing lights with an EQ attached, rather than a fully integrated system. The video I posted wasn’t meant for Amazon, i just got home after being gone for a month—I rewired things creatively just to force the meters to show some actual bounce and movement.

FX-888 Initial Review
I got the Fulode FX-888 Digital EQ a couple of days ago. To be frank, it’s my first DSP equalizer—I've only used analog ones until now. I plan to write a more in-depth review in the coming weeks, once I’ve had time to run an audio sweep to validate the equalizer and spectrum analyzer bands. In the meantime, here are a few initial impressions: - Preset Loading Delay: When you load or change an equalizer setting, there’s a noticeable delay—about one second—before the changes take effect. This is expected with DSP devices, but still worth keeping in mind. - Audio-Video Sync: I’ve noticed a delay of approximately 10 to 20 milliseconds between the audio processed through the EQ and the video. That’s understandable, given the signal passes through ADC processing before being converted back via DAC. Depending on your setup, you might need to adjust the video/audio delay to avoid that “lip flap” effect. - Band Adjustment Interface: Adjusting the frequency bands directly on the unit felt somewhat complicated and time-consuming. I found it much easier to configure a few presets using the software and save them that way. - Initial Sound Quality: The audio output is great at first glance—clean, crisp, and detailed. I didn’t notice any hiss, hum, or other unwanted noise artifacts, which speaks well for the internal shielding and signal integrity. For a DSP-based EQ, this level of clarity right out of the box is a pleasant surprise.

Doesn’t work as an EQ
A 4volt input signal, which is typical for XLR, causes so much distortion that’s it’s unusable. So the XLR inputs are not for pro audio. Adding a small amount of EQ also causes excessive distortion, making these useless. The lights like nice. The unit looks nice. But that’s it

awesome for the price
the spectrum display is not tone accurate so you can't use it for audio engineering, but it's better than an accurate display if you want so see lights dance to music, as the display is fun to watch anyway. The display really only shows the middle 15 different frequencies in pairs of LED's. If you want a 'real' 1/3 octave spectrum analyzer display, you will be paying 3 times as much, so at this price I am happy with what I received.
