Digilux Is Garbage Now
I ordered these 4 - 1,000 watt HPS Digilux bulbs. When I received them the physically did not look like Digilux. The box is smaller and only rates it at 145,000 lumens while the older model was rated at 155,000 lumens. I contacted Hydrofarm (makers of Digilux) and they confirmed that these are in fact Digilux bulbs and that their manufacturing process has changed. The Hydrofarm rep agreed that they aren't as good and suggested I go with the Eye Hortilux Super HPS in the future.I installed all 4 bulbs in my fixtures connected to Quantum digital ballasts. 2 fired up right away and 2 struggled to fire and then burnt out. Brand new bulbs burnt out on first fire... I included a pic that shows an older Digilux and the new one that just burnt out. Stay away from Digilux! I was a supporter and mainly ran Digilux but will never again.

Are these counterfeit?
I just received six supposedly new Digilux 1000 watt HPS bulbs.They do NOT look like Digilux bulbs. The shape is completely different. There are NO Digilux bulbs online that look like this, and as far as I know, there never have been.

2 defective bulbs
I purchased2 Bulbs and found that both were defective. One would not fire at all and the other one has a constant flicker. The packaging looks new as do the bulbs.I am waiting for a response from seller

failure afte one month
first time trying these bulbs and now the last. One month after installing, the arc tube broke off.

These bulbs blew after striking about 5 days on brand new nanolux ballast... very disappointed. I will update on return policy after the return is processed
